i really like the theme song but I agree that it doesnt fit in with other ST series. But still it should have originality. But it should be a more "powerful" song. This one sounds as a song you would sit down and cry to.

CHANGE THE THEME SONG!

Sorry folks, but I can't get into Enterprise. We need a more commanding lead as Captain. With all due respect to the actor playing the part--what's his name again? You see how much of an impression he's made on me!

Shatner was da man.

Stewart was awesome and sexy (bald does it for me everytime)

Avery Brooks ooozed command. And I was totally in love with his voice. Stewart ooozed command but he could be a little stiff.

Janeway was da woman--gotta luv Mulgrew (don't get me started on her voice!)

But that song is trite, the tune is annoying and the lyrics are horrible! The theme song does not invite me back to try to get into Enterprise.

The song is perfect for the Star Trek Genre and the show. I have a printout of the lyrics for that song and all those words if you look at them and also think about the other shows and what ENterprise is doing you will see that every single word fits. It tells you what the show is about and how they overcome there obsticals.

PostSun Apr 21, 2002 12:46 am    Enterprise Theme Song

I like the Theme Song To Enterprise I think Mr. Bermen Did a Good Job of Finding A Song That Goes along With the Ship and Her Crew.

Cuzz the song is about Doing Something The First Time, And For the Crew of The First Enterprise That's Exactly what they're doing.

Exploring Space For the First Time.

That's what I think.

There is nothing wrong with the song it's perfectly fine. I think startrek would be a lot better with more "Up to date" songs in it. I like this enterprise begining better because it's not just a ship flying between stars and stuff. It accually has something going on unlike the other beginings.

Change is important; if you do not change (adapt) you die! I like Star Trek and I do not want it to die, do you? They can change it as much as they want to keep the franchise alive otherwise it WILL be 6 ft (aprx. 2 meters) under and I do not want to say goodbyte to the best franchise alive. It adapted fot TNG and it must adapt for 2001 otherwise paramount will not hesitate to pull the plug and that is the truth and I think you all know it but can not or will not accept it!

Yet on the other hand...they didn't change it for Voyager. I think a theme song means a lot to everyone and the shows meaning. I like Faith of the ehart and think it should stay all seasons, like the Voyager theme did.
