These are the voyages of a noble ship, the U.S.S. Skylark.

The nebula had been bothering Starfleet for some time now. It didnt seem to special, except for the fact that one day, a pocket of space had been clear, not a thing for miles around and the next day, a ship had been stranded in a nebula in the exact same region of space. It was supposed to be an easy rescue/science mission, go there and study the nebula, come home with the information and the missing ship. If only anyone had known how incredibly wrong they were.

Captain Ivy Trillibar of the U.S.S. Skylark slowly opened her eyes, then suddenly sat up, wide awake. The first words that entered her mind were: Where the heck am I? Then she remembered as she looked around her private quarters. She was in a ship. Her ship. She was captain of the U.S.S. Skylark, and she had to get her lazy butt out of bed, high-tail it to the Bridge, and pray that she wasnt late.
Two minutes later she was in her captains chair , praising God that she had arrived on time. This is not the way a Captain should start her first day of command, She thought to herself.
Lieutenant Collier, how are we doing? she asked the pretty young woman sitting at the helm. We should be arriving at the nebula in 0:600 hours, came the reply. Good, said Trillibar, pleased that her voice sounded so calm.
The newly appointee Captain sighed. This was going to be easy. Rescue the U.S.S Jupiter out of a nebula and gather some information on the way.
