Of the Original Series? Wasn't the last episode that was aired the one where that woman, forget her name, took over Kirks body?

TOS is on ALL of the time here. Just about every Monday they will have a mini marathon, and then show it at 5pm every day. Voyager, I have not been able to see since about 2 years ago.

Tos was awesome except the fact that all the special effects sucked.

Yeah, the effects suck now, but my Dad said that when he was a kid, it was the coolest thing.

Because no one has much to say about TOS at the moment? After Voyager, it is my favorite, the one I grew up with.

Almost exactly the same thing here, my dad used to watch TOS EVERY Friday night, and I would watch it with him. I wasn't to thrilled when TNG came out, but I guess it grew on me.

What do you think of the way that they killed off Captain Kirk? Personally I thought that it sucked. And then to be left on some planet in the middle of nowhere? After all he has done for the Federation, like saving Earth at least twice.

TOS is ok but there isn't enough space combat and the graphics when they do shot phasers and stuff suck

Yeah, but remember in about 10 years, the effects from Voyager and the movies are going to seem as archaic as TOS does right now.

I just meant that as our technology grows, the things that seem so "modern" now, will be old.

Oh, most definitely. I still like TOS even though most of the things that were "futuristic" then, we have now. I am sure it will be the same w/ Voyager. Like I said, while the visual effects are a great asset to a show, it is the character dynamics that draws most people. And if there is one thing that will not change, it is how people interact w/ each other.

Hey TOS is ok for its time but the graphics are lame and there isn't enough space combat but in the movies with the TOS crew are awesome though

Who do you think would have been a better captain on the Enterprise, Captain Pike (Jeffrey Hunter), or Captain Kirk (William Shatner)?
