i've seen every episode so far and still i can't get used to it... maybe because i'm so used to the no-lyrics classical like music from all the others

That theme song is so gay. They should change. It's the only series with words in the opening credits that actually sing along with the credits. It's like an outcast show.

I came across an "Alternate Enterprise Intro" clip the other night, and the theme is especially good: It's an instrumental melody like the other Treks (no lyrics!) and is as good as or better than DS9's revamped theme. I would really like to see the producers consider using it with future episodes.

At first I hated it. Then I liked it. Now, I really don't care.
Change it, I won't mind. Keep it, I won't mind. Its nothing special but it doesn't inspire revulsion as it seems to for some people.

The Theme song is so stupid, htey should change it cuz the Classical songs where more "cooler", they have turned modern!

I find the theme song extremely moving and inspirational. It not only fits with the show (trying to get out from under the Vulcans after 100 years), but also provides a vision for the post 9/11 world: the positive aspects of human nature will eventually win the day.
Also, I love how everyone is "less perfect" in the new show. Even the Vulcans aren't above spying on other species. Without a crew full of self-actualized perfectionists, there is lots of room to develop character relationships and plot twists.

i like it, but I think something by Stewart Copland would also work well and make more people happy.

One of our channels served up the first episode of "Enterprise" last night. A bit slow but I'll reserve my judgement for awhile and give it a go.
