I'd have to say Jadzia was better...Ezri is OK, but Jadzia was just...well, awesome!
Just look at all the posts about her..."why did they kill Jadzia?" "Who thought Jadzia was hot?" "what was your reaction to the killing of Jadzia Dax?" "Terry Farrell," and a few more "why was Jadzia killed?" I think she must have been pretty crucial to DS9, because she is still remembered and people still react to the fact that she was killed off.

They also had alot longer to establish the character of Jadzia. We knew virtually nothing of Ezri, except for about the Dax symbiont.

Jadzia was just annoying she thought that she was better at klingon martial arts than everyone else even worf

where as Ezri didn't pretend to be a klingon and just stuck to being an ordinary joined trill

I think they both had "quality" they each were both good actors with amazing playing styles. I still have to admit that I think that Ezri is a little more "cute" than Jadzia.

And as for that hairstyle that Ezri had. Well the klingons say it best.

I thought Ezri was more childish than Jadzia, Jadzia was just out of control and a brilliant officer. She was a strong character too.
