Now, everyone knows about each of the captains and ships.
So: What captain had the worst command of the ship--
ex- Kirk, because he constantly blew up the Enterprise A, and had it crippled so many times, and yet, Starfleet demoted him once!

Actually, the Ent-A only suffered serious damage in "The Undiscovered Country". But then, it was only in 3 of the movies.

Oh, you meant the NCC-1701. You said the Ent-A, which wasn't seen until ST4. Yes, that ship did take quite a pounding.

It's his job, plus, a station brings on many opportunities....chasing down ships that stopped there, oh say, twelve years ago.
Plus it used to be a Cardassian station! (but everyone already knows that)

Sisko is also in command of a significant portion of the Federation fleet during the Dominion War. At least I think so, although I haven't seen much of those seasons. But in any case, he has the ear of Admiral Ross and General Martok. So Sisko's pretty influential in the military.

Well I still hate him and no matter what you guys say...I don't think he could've ever been a better Captain then the Captain's before him; Kirk, Picard, Sulu, etc. and the Captain after him, Janeway. And the captain WAY before him, Archer.

I think all the ships that have been focused on by series and movies have been excellent, I mean the Enterprise is usually the best starship at the time, Voyager was very powerful and Deep Space Nine was a very well kept station out there on it's own, but the Defiant was certainly an exceptional Starfleet vessel.

besides captain ransom i would say TNG USS Phoenix captain attacked and destroyed cardassian warships in cardassian space during a time of peace, he did more damage than good and another captain from DS9 Valiant (red squad) made a mistake of not withdrawling and repairing after they attacked a Jem'hadar battleship and it cost them there lives, he was considered a bad captain.

Would you mind sharing those Obvious reasons with us, because I really dont think that they are quite apperent. I think that Janeway does a good job.
