I got this list from a friend:

  • ADTH
A substance which may be pumped through the life support systems of a starship as a fast-acting stimulant. Lieutenant Commander Data used ADTH in the airflow at 5 parts per million to revive the remaining crew from the stun effect of the Paxans' fake wormhole.
  • Anesthizine gas
An anti-intruder defense used aboard starships and Federation facilities; a concentration of 70 parts per million is more than enough to render humanoids unconscious. Aboard the U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701-D, Captain Picard had Data flood the gas throughout the already cleared bays on Deck 38 when Roga Danar was suspected in a cargo bay there. Commander Riker suggested using it on their alien-possessed shipmates and hostages in Ten-Forward, but Chief Engineer LaForge points out the gas wouldn't work on Data. It has also been known as "anastazine."
  • Asinolyathin This substance is used as a pain-killer for muscle spasm.
  • Benzocyatizine-24, 25, 39
A drug used by Trill doctors to stimulate failing isoboramine levels in joined hosts to avoid late rejection of the symbiont. It can be administered in small doses, approximately 2 ccs for a crisis situation.
  • Cordrazine
A potent stimulant, use in Starfleet medical practice since at least the 2260s. A treatment of 25cc is considered to be a deadly dosage and usually used only as a last resort in life-threatening situations. Doctor Crusher used 25ccs in an attempt to revive Lieutenant Worf during a cardiac arrest. Doctor Bashir used 2ccs to stimulate falling neurotransmitter levels in Bajoran Vedek Bariel, but was not successful. Bashir also used it as a stimulant on quickened Teplanites in 4mg doses, but it soon begins to lose its effect. Ensign Kim of the U.S.S. Voyager was given 2cc of cordrazine when he returned to the vessel from the Vhnori dimension. Doctor McCoy of the U.S.S. Enterprise received a deadly dose of cordrazine in 2367, causing madness
and hallucinations. The EMH Doctor ordered 50 mg when Tuvok went into convulsions under a mindmeld.
  • Corophyzine
Used to prevent a secondary infection when viral fever cannot be lowered. Doctor
Bashir used 30cc of the drug on Chief O'Brien while under the effects of the
    aphasia-like virus.
  • Cortolin
Used to treat a wound inflicted by a compressor beam weapon. Dr. Bashir used 10cc
of cortolin when trying to treat Quark after his wound from Trazco's compressed
    Tetryon beam weapon.
  • Delactovine
Used to stabilize a patient undergoing seizures or shock. Dr. Crusher used 2 cc in a
hypospray on Captain Picard when he went into convulsions amid signs of massive
body tissue failure when the Kataanan beam was cut off. The drug had no effect in
    this case.
  • Dexalin
Useful in treatment of oxygen deprivation and life support systems failure. Dr. Crusher
used an unspecified dosage of this drug on two J'naii survivors of the lost shuttle Taris
    Murn.
  • Dylamadon
A sedative which can simulate death in an individual. Dylamadon is given to
Counselor Troi so that Ves Alkar will be fooled into breaking his psychically-draining
    link with her.
  • Hyperzine
Stimulant used in Starfleet practice that was administered in at least two 20cc doses
for Garak's seizures when his shut-down cranial implant stopped triggering the
endorphin flow that his body had grown dependent on. When his body did not
respond, Dr. Bashir used a cardio-stimulator with success.
  • Hyronalin
The standard treatment for radiation since the late 2100s. Even so, it was discarded
in a special case whe Dr. Leonard McCoy discovered a cure for a hyerpaging
syndrome on Gamma Hydra IV in 2267. In 2368, the drug was replicated to treat
expected radiation illnesses on Gamelan V, and was pumped through the shipboard
ventilation system of the U.S.S. Enterprise itself when radiation levels rose while
towing a leaky, radioactive garbage scow. Even then, at the rate of radiation
increase, it was effective for less than an hour. Later that year, up to four hours of
radiation from a cargo bay plasma fire after the Enterprise's quantum filament
collision caused only temporary physical damage but still required a few days of
    hyronalin treatments for those affected.
  • Impedrezine
A treatment used for cranial trauma, following up use of an osteogenic stimulator on
the fracture. A typical dose is 2 CCs.
    Inoprovaline
A stimulant commonly used in Starfleet. Dr. Crusher injected it by hypospray at
Worf's neck at the first sign of problems after his post-operative release from life
support in 2368; a fluctuation in his isocortex was met with a 20 cc dose, then 40 cc
and finally 75 cc before she switched to 15 cc of chlormydride. In 2366, Crusher
ordered 60 cc along with cardiostimulation as among the first treatments for the
badly wounded "John Doe" to help raise his autonomic response. The same dose
was given to Captain Picard when his cardial implant was fused; a 20-cc dose was
given to Dr. Reyga in vain after his sabotaged metaphasic shield test.
  • Morathial
A drug used to treat neural metaphasic shock when a patient's blood pressure is too
low to use the standard remedy, leporazine. But Dr. Russell assumed a severely
injured U.S.S. Denver survivor in triage aboard the U.S.S. Enterprise was a lost
cause and tried borathium, her new rybo-therapy -- incensing Dr. Crusher when the
    patient inevitably died.
  • Morphenolog
A pain-killer used by Doctor Bashir in a 2-cc dose when Bareil lashed out violent pain
as his left parietal lobe suffered damage from the ongoing Vasokil treatments.
  • Neo-analeptic transmitters
Biochemical neuro-stimulants developed within the 2360s that Doctor Bashir
hypothesizes and proves can put Nathaniel Teros' abandoned theory of
  • Neuromuscular Adaptation to work -- and offer Elaysian Ensign Melora Pazlar a
hindrance-free life in "normal" gravity. The first infusion brings on increased heart
rate; a couple more are able to lessen the neural damage of even a phaser set to kill
-- at least in an Elaysian's case.
  • Neo-dextraline solution
    Used to treat dehydration.
  • Netinaline
Stimulant used in a 2-cc dose when reviving the Vhnori Ptera from her "afterlife".
  • Norep
A drug injected into Yar in the neck during the last-ditch but futile effort to save her deteriorating synaptic system after being hit by Armus. Doctor Crusher ordered 2 cc of the drug for anthropologist Doctor Mary Warren in a futile last-ditch attempt to avoid her death on stardate 43173.5.
    Reference: Skin Of Evil
  • Triptacederine
An anesthetic (pronounced "trip-tuh-SEED-er-in") used by Garak to kill the pain of his failing implant from the Obsidian Order. 30 CCs would anesthetize an Algorian Mammoth, but it hardly dents the stout Cardassian physiology.

and the other part to the list is illnesses

Altairian encephalitis

A retro-virus that incorporates its DNA directly into the cells of its host, lying dormant
up to many years before becoming active and subjecting the host to a coma and
delirium for days. This inactivity erases through synapse degradation all memory
back to the point of infection -- according to the future scenario the alien Barash
constructed with Commander Riker. Apparently Klingons are immune to this
infection.
Andronesian encephalitis A highly contagious disease, yet safely treated in Sickbay thanks to a superior air filtration system. The threat of this disease caused the guardian of the Daled IV
dauphin to request the destruction of the individual infected.

Arethian flu

Illness which Lieutenant Hargrove was tested for on the U.S.S. Voyager NCC-74656,
stardate 48579.

Barclay's Protomorphosis Syndrome

A syndrome where intron release causes a de-evolution within a patient's DNA. The
virus is caused by the invasion of genetic codes by synthetic T-cells, and was named
for Lieutenant (j.g.) Reginald Barclay of the U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701-D in 2370 as
its progenitor.

Bendii Syndrome

A rare usually fatal disease that afflicts Vulcans over the age of 200, debilitating their
emotional control; there is no known treatment. Early symptoms include sudden
bursts of emotion, especially irrational anger, but the only way to prove a diagnosis
is to grow a culture from tissue of the metathalamus -- a process which takes several
days. The telepathic abilities of Vulcans are strong enough to cause the loss of
control to be projected onto others. Ambassador Sarek of Vulcan died of it on
stardate 45245, in 2368.

Blood pyrasites, distillate

To put Federation negotiator Mendoza out of commission during the Barzan wormhole
bargaining in 2366, the Ferengi used a distillate of their own daimon's blood pyrasites
to wreak a serious allergic reaction. Dr. Arridor took a sample of the yellowish Ferengi
blood from Daimon Goss' neck, then rubbed the distillate into his daimon's palm --
where it turned deep blue-green -- to make contact in a handshake.

Denevan Neural Parasites

Originating outside the Milky Way galaxy, these irregularly shaped gelatinous
life-forms were structurally analogous to oversized brain cells, and were linked
together to form a single collective intelligence. Initially, the parasites hid in darkened
recesses, but were capable of flight, and thereby mobile enough to attack a
passer-by. Latching themselves onto a humanoid life-form, the parasites would then
infiltrate the victim's nervous system assuming control of both the autonomic and
higher functions of the inflicted humanoid. This process brought severe pain on the
victim. So virulent were these parasites that they could easily infest an entire planet's
population, forcing the planet's unfortunate humanoid victims to construct crafts in
which they might infest the next planet. From their path beginning outside the Milky
Way, the parasites first attacked the ancient Beta Portolan system followed by
infestations at Levinius V, Theta Cygni XII, Ingraham B, and in 2267, they attacked
the planet Deneva. Residing on Deneva were George Samuel and Aurelan Kirk,
brother and sister-in-law to Captain James Kirk. Both of Kirk's relatives became
victims of the parasite and died. U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701 Science Officer Mr.
Spock also became an unwitting victim of the parasites. Later, however, he was freed
by an experiment involving a controlled exposure to intense light which successfully
destroyed the parasites, and provided the means to destroy the remaining parasites
on Deneva. Two-hundred ten satellites were placed into orbit around Deneva, each
bombarding the surface of the planet with enough powerful ultraviolet radiation to
eradicate the entire infestation.

Histaminic reaction

Federation negotiator Mendoza suffers a system-wide histaminic reaction -- massive, body-weakening allergies -- after being infected by DaiMon Goss via a distillation of the Ferengi's own blood pyrasites; one early symptom seen is fever, leading to dizziness and weakness. It is not serious, but knocks Mendoza out of the negotiations for the rights to the Barzan wormhole for several days.

Iverson's Disease

A debilitating muscular disease with no known cure. There are also no known cases
of remission.

Larosian Virus

An affliction that was "going around" Deep Space Nine circa stardate 46853, when a
shocked Dr. Bashir first guessed it was the reason Dax appeared to be coming onto
him in his own bed.

Levodian Flu

A virus whose infectious cycle takes 29 hours to complete. U.S.S. Voyager's
Emergency Medical Hologram infected himself with a simulation of such a virus in
order to set an example for the crew on how to withstand suffering. He was not able
to deal with the flu symptoms himself, and feared he would die when Kes secretly
added a few hours to the simulation.

Neural metaphasic shock

A potentially and often fatal failure of the entire neurological system in a humanoid.
Neural metaphasic shock was found to be the cause of death of a crash victim from
the Yorkshire-class U.S.S. Denver NCC-54927. This death did not directly follow the
crash, but occurred only after Doctor Toby Russell treated him with borathium, an
unauthorized drug.

Neural Shock

Shock induced in the neural pathways. Science Officer Dax goes into shock when
first consciously confronted by a visual record of Joran Belar, her secretly unknown
host.

Orkett's Disease

A childhood virus that swept through the Bajoran work camps during the Cardassian Occupation, killing thousands. To cover for a time her true Cardassian heritage, Seska claims to have had the disease but received a bone marrow transplant from a sympathetic Cardassian woman named Kattell.

Parinisti Measles

A disease the Doctor managed to stop aboard ship before it reached epidemic proportions. In order to stop it, however, the Doctor had to work 74 hours straight to isolate and replicate the endoplasmic virus.

Cell Anomalies

A Bajoran dysfunction involving abnormalities to the vital types of white illness-fighting blood cells which Doctor Bashir treated in an ongoing immunotherapy project he wrote about in a published paper which was praised by Doctor Lense.

Tsiolkovsky infection

A waterborne viral infection that acts as a depressant on the body's neural system, lowering inhibitions by acquiring carbon from the body and acting on the brain as an intoxicant. The disease and a strain similar to it that infected the original U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701 starship some 80 years before have both occurred during huge shifts in gravity, as at a large collapsing stellar body. It takes its name from an away team checking on the dead science ship SS Tsiolkovsky that had been monitoring a red supergiant's collapse into a white dwarf. A pale pinkish antidote from the earlier case doesn't work again, and Doctor Crusher finally discovered one that works now. Remmick questions Lieutenant Worf during his interrogation for Admiral Quinn about Picard's handling of the incident on stardate 41416.2.

Urodelan flu

A harmless disease Lieutenant Barclay has but whose treatment with a synthetic T-cell causes the crew to de-evolve.

Zanthi Fever

A virus which affects the empathic abilities of older betazoids, causing them to project their own emotions onto others in close proximity during such an attack -- manifested as a passing headache. The emotion only took hold in subjects where a latent propensity in that direction was present; a simple wide-spectrum anti-viral agent is enough to cure it; the effect on others fades in a day or two. Lwaxana's case aboard Deep Space Nine during the Gratitude Festival sends Jake chasing Major Kira, her Bareil lusting for Science Officer Dax, who in turn wanted Commander Sisko; later, Doctor Bashir and Major Kira coupled up and even Quark went for Keiko. Ironically, Chief O'Brien proved immune to it, as did Constable Odo.

Medical equipment

Alpha-wave inducer
A substance which relaxes a patient by easing the introduction of alpha waves into
the brain. Doctor Bashir warned Kajada that it is only meant for occasional use.

Bioregenerative field

In biomedical applications, a radiated energy used to accelerate cellular growth --
especially useful to accelerate the growth of a cloned individual. This technique was
employed by Dr. Julian Bashir on cells which developed into a clone of Ibudan.

Brain-circuitry pattern

Medical diagnostic tool which creates an image capable of mapping the neural
activity in the humanoid brain. A BCP can be used as a means of identification as
each individual image is unique to that individual. In 2269, Lieutenant Mira Romaine
was given such a diagnostic exam during her unwilling interaction with the Zetarians
in which it was revealed that her brain wave patterns were changing to match the
Zetarian's brain waves.

Cardiostimulator

Medical instrument which revives victims in cardiac arrest, available both as a
hand-held unit and built into the cryo-surgivcal support frame. In 2267, McCoy used it
on Ambassador Sarek aboard the U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701, allowing him to
continue heart surgery on the ambassador.

Cardiac replacement

A surgical technique originally developed by Doctor Van Doren in which a patient's
diseased or injured heart is replaced by an artificial device. In 2327 and again in
2365, Captain Jean-Luc Picard underwent this procedure.
Code White resuscitation
A Federation medical code for resuscitating an apparently dead humanoid lifeform.
Commander Chakotay anticipated that he would need such a resuscitation after his
encounter with the Kazon.

Cryostasis

A Federation medical procedure commonly used to slow down a critically injured
patient's biological functions, thereby allowing more time to diagnose and repair the
problem. On stardate 46922 Dr. Julian Bashir wanted to put a critically injured Klingon
first officer into cryostasis, but the patient died before reaching space station Deep
Space Nine.

Decompression chamber

A treatment chamber aboard Federation starships for patients in need of exposure to
non-class-M type atmospheric pressures.
Direct reticular stimulation
Medical procedure which applies electrical energy directly to a humanoid nervous
system in an effort to revive neural activity, using a neural stimulator device. When
Natasha Yar was critically wounded by Armus in 2364, direct reticular stimulation
was attempted but unsuccessful in her revival.

DNA reference scan

Medical procedure to test and confirm the identity of an individual by matching DNA
patterns with those on file. Kajada, a Kobliad security officer, requested Doctor Julian
Bashir perform a DNA reference scan in order to confirm the identity of a body which
she believed to belong to her prisoner, Rao Vantika.
Electrophoretic analysis
Standard medical analysis to test cellular components. On station Deep Space Nine,
such an analysis was run by Dr. Bashir on a group of unknown cells found in Ibudan's
quarters in an effort to help determine their origin.

Emergency Medical Kit

Adapted from standard-issue starship medical gear, the med-kit is eqquipped to perform scanning, diagnostic, and treatment functions, plush database management and computer interface operations. The med-kit normally contains one medical tricorder, to multimode hyposprays, one dermal regenerator, one blood infuser, one defibrillator, one padd, and one neural stimlator. The case also houses a variety of injectable fluids, bandages, device power packs, 6.5-kiloquad isolinear processor, and subspace trainceiver assembly.

Genetronic replicator

Developed by neurogeneticist Doctor Toby Russell, an experimental medical device
able to translate a particular genetic code into a specific set of replication directions
which instruct the replicative device to "grow" a fitting replacement organ. Doctor
Russell was refused three requests to begin testing her device on humanoid patients
by Starfleet Medical until her successful -- if not somewhat questionable --
implementation of the technique on Lieutenant Worf in 2368.

Hyperencephalogram

Medical test involving an instrument capable of recording and measuring brain-wave
activity in Humanoids.

K-3 Indicator

Medical means of measuring neural activity which corresponds to the level of pain as
it is being experienced by a patient. Aboard Constitution-class starships, the biobed
monitors included a K-3 indicator.

Motor assist bands

Several small, electronically sensitive strap-like devices used with neurologically
damaged patients in assisting motor recovery. By providing electrical stimulation to
the patient's limbs, injured or damaged muscles can be successfully retrained. In
2366, the Zalkonian John Doe used these devices to rehabilitate his injured muscles
following the reattachment of one of his arms; two years later Worf used and rejected
them when he was paralyzed from the neck down after an accident.

Neural Imaging Scan

Medical diagnostic scan employed to test the acuity of a patient's visual cortex. In
2369, on station Deep Space Nine, Chief Medical Officer Doctor Julian Bashir
performed a neural imaging scan on Chief Miles O'Brien as part of an effort to
determine the cause of his unexplained aphasia.
Neural Implants
One of the elements that, when combined with others, allows the sightless U.S.S.
Enterprise NCC-1701-D's Engineer to see. The neural implants function as the
bioelectrical interface between Chief Engineer Geordi LaForge's visual cortex and his
VISOR. They consist of two bilateral implants in the temporal regions of La Forge's
skull and feed directly into the visual cortex. A portion of the implants must remain
external to allow for the direct connection of the VISOR to Chief Engineer La Forge's
head.

Neural stimulator

The instrument used to increase neural activity in the central nervous system of a dying humanoid brain. When Natasha Yar was critically wounded by Armus, a neural stimulator was used as part of direct reticular stimulation in an unsuccessful attempt to revive the gravely injured Lieutenant. On stardate 45349.1, Professor Berlinghoff Rasmussen pilfered a neural stimulator from the U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701-D's sickbay.

Neurolink

Emergency medical technique employing matching neural pads which is used to stabilize and treat patients with severe brainstem injuries. One pad would be placed on a healthy subject while the matching unit was placed on the injured patient, thereby establishing a link from the healthy autonomic nervous system to the injured system. In 2366, Doctor Beverly Crusher used such a link between the healthy Geordi La Forge and the injured "John Doe" in order to stabilize the latter's nervous system.

Physiostimulator

Federation medical instrument employed to elevate metabolic functions in an otherwise impaired individual.

Psychotricorder

A Federation instrument used to scan and record past memories. In 2267, Captain Kirk ordered a 24-hour regressive memory test using a psychotricorder on Engineer Montgomery Scott after he was accused of murder while planet-side on Argelius II. The test was abruptly halted, however, when the psych technician, Karen Tracy, was the second to be murdered by the malevolent entity occupying Engineer Scott's body.

Steinman Analysis

Medical test noting individual-specific data such as voice analysis and particularly brain wave patterns. On stardate 5725, U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701 Lieutenant Mira Romaine was given a standard Steinman analysis by chief medical officer Leonard McCoy while under the influence of the Zetarians. The analysis indicated clearly that her brain wave patterns had been altered from her original patterns and now matched the patterns emitted by the Zetarians within her.

Quarantine Transmitter

These radio beacons are standard equipment onboard Federation starships and are capable of transmitting automated warning messages to send other ships away should a ship and its crew become dangerously contaminated with a plague or other infection. The U.S.S. Lantree NCC-1837's quarantine transmitter was activated by the crew of the U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701-D after the entire crew compliment died from exposure to deadly antibodies from the Darwin Genetic Research Station.

You know that we actually have hyposprays that work and that are painless. They were made a couple years ago and are still being tested.
