Despite having cut out most of what happened before Brie, it was still REALLY good!

I've seen the movie four times... it's good! I'm not actually obsessive... my bf saw it with me, my 'rents, by best friend, and my OTHER best friend. I have an excuse. *looks around defensively then breaks into laughter*

The ONLY problem with the movie is that the actor who plays Freudo thinks Star Trek is lame.

Just for your information, "The Hobbit" and "The Lord of the Rings" aren't the only books Tolkien wrote about Middle Earth. If you are a die hard fan like me, then there are "The Silmarillion", "The War of the Jewels", "Morgoth's Ring", "The Treason of Isengard", "The Lays of Beleriand", "The Shaping of Middle Earth", "The Return of the Shadow", and about 4 or 5 more. They are all good books, but they are more the history of Middle Earth than anything else.

This is sort of off-topic, but I've become convinced that JMS borrowed a lot of ideas from Tolkein in Babylon 5. Its not a copycat or anything, but there are distinct similarities. Pretty cool, actually.
