Who do you think would have been the best Chancellor for the High Counsel, Martok or Worf?

I have to agree, Martok was a General and had more battles than Worf, but i think if Worf would have taken the throne he would have been the greatest chancellor next to Kahless to the Klingon People and a great leader to the federation.Worf is the only officer to serve with the federation and he has knowledge from both empires and that would be to his mutual advantage over Martok.

I think that Worf is more educated than Martok and he would have been the smarter ruler in term of bringing the Kligons out of their primitive lifestyles and into the real 24th century.

I think Worf. He's Klingon and a great warrior. He would never surrender.A valuable Klingon trait.

yes as worf would say only cowards surrender. And since he is the only one that knows the location of the sword of Kahless he could at any time possess this sword and become the outright ruler of the empire, but he does not wish to become leader of the people and im sure the secret will die with him.

I think both of them would do a great job better than some of the dishonorable Klingons. Like the house of Duras every Honorable klingon doesnt like and would like to kill!

Worf would be good, but MARTOK is a better leader. He's lived with Klingons his whole life. When you think about it, Martok is like the average Klingon. I mean, most people we see on Startrek have something special. Like being super smart, or super strong. Martok was once talking about his life and aparently he grew up to a poor klingon family (which is very common among klingons). They were all warriors and so was he. He's not super strong/smart and know what the people want so he would make a perfect chancellor. Besides, worf is becoming ambassador.

Thats very true sarek,Worf has not been around his own kind his whole life and im sure it would take a good portion of his life to understand them more.Yes he has taken the position as federation ambassador to Qo'nos,As i remember it worf is his most trusted advisor to.Martok being a general had made a good name for himself and he deserved the throne even though he didnt want it.But never the less i think they both (especially worf) in there older years would make a good chancellor.I think even Kurn (Worfs brother) would too..

Kurn was more Klingon than Worf, definetly no offense to Worf!

Worf will be the best,he has an advantage over Martok because
he is a Starfleet Officer and has made contact with other species
so he will not be as primitive as Martok in his ways.

Worf works for starfleet and would likely force the klingons to ally with starfleet and he would favor starfleets decisions over the klingons

Well, Worf turned down the option to replace Gowron. Instead, he inflicted that fate on Martok.

In revenge, Martok made Worf an Ambassador.
