Ok, where did the glasses that McCoy gave Kirk come from? 19th century, but after they were given to Kirk, that was no longer true.

Quantum Torpedo: Advanced weaponry developed by Starfleet in the late 2360s. Quantum Torpedoes employed an energetic local realease of the zero point energy field. This quantum effect tends to be more effective than conventional antimatter explosives in penetrating deflector shields. Both the starship Defiant and the Enterprise E had quantum torpedoes installed.

transphasic torpedoes were created by captain janeway after they got home . the torpedo is programed to go throgh multipul phase varients so it goes strait throgh the sheilds so in this case the borg will not addapt.

They will adapt after the billions of slight varieces are used to crush them. But anyway I think whith the Unimatrix Zero problem and the neogenic virus admrial janway gave them we have seen the last of the borg.

Lets see, she fell apart and then exploded in Endgame....was half vaporized in FC....

When else was she killed? I've only seen the first half of Dark Frontier, but I know she survivied Unimatrix Zero.

in First conatct, see was destroyed not half voporized. she was destroyed when they saved Locutus/picard from the borg cube then destroyed it, she supposedly was on that cube also, for reference watch First Contact, she did survive unimatrix zero, and in many Star Trek books, written by William Shatner. lets see..... after Viredian 3, spock goes down to see kirks grave, kirk is transported onto a borg cube and re-animated, brought back to life, and sent on a mission to kill picard, later kirk saves picard form dying and blows up the borg homeworld. but the queen still lives

Of course, TNG:BOBW. I had forgotten that.

As to "The Return," I wouldn't be surprised if the Queen survived that, since Kirk did.

One thing that has always bothered me is that in the episode "Timeless" Voyager is buried under ice for 15-20 years, when Harry and Chakotay beam into the corridor, how can there be power still???
The Bio-nural gel packs were frozen, and the main power grid destroyed.

yet on the bridge, the lights were flickering!

And, in the same episode, Kim says that decks 9-14 have been crushed into deck 10. Engineering is on deck 16 ( I think ) How could have the antimatter contaiment pods not be ruptured?

The warp core would have been crushed as soon as Voyager had hit the ice!!! The core is at least 2 decks high!

Well, the ship hit the ice really hard, Voyager should have exploded almost instantly.

Any ideas anyone???

I've got a puzzler. Why do Federation Starships never let loose with their Torpedo ability? The Akira alone could lay down 40 torpedoes facing to the front in one second. The Akira has 10 Pulse Fire Photon torpedo tubes facing to the front. A pulse fire torpedo launcher can fire 4 torpedoes in 1 second, before reloading for 3 seconds. In FC, the USS Thunderchild (NCC-63549) only used about 7 torpedoes. Theoretically, 1 Akira armed with Quantum Torpedoes could decimate a Unimatrix in a matter of minutes. The Akira would come out with some serious damage, but the Unimatrix would cease to exist. Don't forget that all the torpedo tubes are pulse fire, and that there are 5 in addition to the 10 facing forwards. 1 faces aft, while 2 face port and 2 face starboard. And with the Akira carrying 3000 torpedoes, it's a supership. I guess it wouldn't be as fun watching the Federation win every time, but I love the Akira, so I had to bring this up.

The Akira is the only starship to have torpedo tubes facing port and starboard (permanently). The Sovereign can rotate the turret, I know.

Anyways, anyone have any ideas?
