Yeah they would try. But you know Spock and McCoy would jump in at the last second and save him in the nick of time. I'd say Kirk. He's gotten out of so many stupid situations. You have to admire that.

Well i would have to say picard as he is more diplomatic and has probably more experince as for kirk he was more of a womaniser by his looks and all but picard is different

I would agree that Kirk was a "ladies man" but not a womanizer. In all but one ep, all he ever did was kiss the girl. There were of course, several eps w/ no women involved. And only one where it went further than kissing, (they show Kirk sitting on the edge of the bed, pulling on his boots, I laughed so hard when I saw that).
If I was out in space, I'd definitely want Kirk w/ me.
