Have you noticed that Deanna always wears this turquoise suit when she's not part of the plot? It's like since she's not important in this episode, we have to make her interesting somehow! It's like a half suit have dress skin tight, clevage showing thing! I thought it was kinda weird, have you guys noticed this?

Actually, Deanna wore that dress (oro one similar) from the third episode right up until the episode "Chain of Command Parts one and two" when Captain Jellico told her he preferred a bit more formality and forced her to wear a standard issue uniform.

i think it's weird to see Deanna, and then see Seven b/c Seven is so skinny and Deanna has BIG hips.. no offence. It makes her look really fat when the only other person wearing a cat suit is Seven.

I'm talking about her turquoise dress. I know she usually wears some stupid monotone suit, but she wears her turquoise thing when she's not as important in the plot so there is some attention drawn to her. I think she looks better in a uniform anyway, her hips don't look as fat in it.

Well, I never really noticed that particular aspect, but if you say so. I'll look for it in the future...LOL! I must agree with you on the Deanna in a uniform concept. I never found her attractive until she started wearing the uniforms. Maybe I'm just a sucker for a girl in a uniform.

Go Captain Jellico! LOL, j/k. I don't remember this turquoise thing...
The actress who plays Troi mentions on the TNG promos how having to wear the "catsuit" was always horrible, because you could always see if she had gained weight.

actually every show has a main character girl that they like to empisise based on looks, It is ment to keep young males interested in the show. TOS had Uhura not to mention all the "Short Skirts". TNG Deanna Troi, DS9 Dax and Kira, VGR had Kes and when she left they brought on 7 of 9. and ENT of course has T'Pol. It is simply to apply to males, in the case of TOS, and to the males 18-25 Demographic in recent times.
