I'm a dual Trek/Wars fan, which seems to be a fairly rare occurance. On occasion I'll post SW stuff, but I am still mainly a Trek fan.

Link told me he was just kidding about the fuc* off part. He has a way of getting me in trouble. I really try not to swear on the site anyways. And Come to think of it, here's another question. Which do you prefer, DL-44 Heavy Blaster Pistol
Or a Vulcan Disrupter?

Tough call. I'd say I actually prefer the disruptor, because beam weapons aim more easily.

I have to admit, for the first time in a long time I was wrong about something trek... The Galaxy class starship (Enterpirse-D) has eleven type-10 phaser arrays and two photon torpedo launchers.

The Nebula class has eight type-10 phaser emitters and two photon torpedo launchers.

The Excelsior class (Enterprise-B) has ten type-9 phaser emitters and two photon torpedo launchers.

The Defiant has four pulse phaser cannons and two photon/quantum torpedo launchers.

The Akira class has six type-10 phaser emitters and two photon/quantum torpedo launchers.

The Norway class has six type-10 phaser emitters and two photon/quantum torpedo launchers.

The Saber class has four type-10 phaser emitters and two photon/quantum torpedo launchers.

The Sovereign (Enterprise-E) class has sixteen type-10 phaser emitters and two photon/quantum torpedo launchers.

The Intrepid class (Voyager) has thirteen type-10 phaser emitters and two photon torpedo launchers.

Just thought I'd pass that along,
Matt

I'm fairly sure Voyager has three torp launchers, two forward and one aft.

I say this because all starships seem to have two forward launchers, and "Scorpion, Pt II" Janeway said:

"Ready the hi-yield warhead. Aft torpedo bay."

One forward, one aft, each with two tubes but it still means they only have two launchers. That's why each tube has to launch one torpedo at a time.

The Galaxy class has one launcher fore right?

Then, why does in one episode of TNG one torpedo become 4? ( dispersal pattern Sierra )

She can launch one after another in quick order, but one does not become 4!. Thats a bit cheap!

Also, the galaxy class actually has 3 launchers.

There is one at the rear of the saucer. ( obviously used when seperated )
