Well of course there were bad moments on Voyager, first of all it started off from DS9 Just kidding. But yes, there were some very bad moments for me on Voyager. For example I hated the episodes with the guy who murdered another crew member on Voyager. I just hate murder topics. Then there was the endless Seska thread, whom I didn't like at all, I all but celebrated when she finally died. Must be why I liked so much the scene when the different parts of the ship were in different time zones, and Seska came back (I was like GRRR!!) and then Seven just entered, her Borg shield absorbed Seska's shot and then she grabbed the nasty bxtch by the throat. I played back that moment about 3 times on the spot!

That was a killer scene... litterally.
But as for Harry, ya gotta admit. He held it together when they were in the shaft and Paris pretty much had Harry to thank for that. That was a real crappy predicament too - I can't imagine pushing somebody to endure such an environment. You'd think he'd be first to crack, like he'd cower in some corner but did he man up and face that challenge or what?? *Applauds*
And when everyone was having bad dreams in Waking Moments, did he have his priorities straight, even while he was asleep?? I do believe he did. Not that it makes him a good crew member but it makes him the crewman with the best imagination LOL

Of Course he made a good crew member ....How could anyone say otherwise? My point is WHO CARES! You could create a character that is a 2x4 piece of wood and give him the power to do an ensigns job and perform the job well...that doesnt mean we WANT to see a 2X4 piece of wood as a star or even role player in the show.
Harry Kim is as unintriging and as uninspiring as a peice of wood. Actually I'd rather see a piece of wood..then I wuldnt have to sit through all the dorkiness that is Harry Kim.
I am going through the last season...I actually have begun to skip the scenes that feature Harry Kim. I am going in chronological order and am at s7 ep05. Can anybody warn of episodes that feature Harry Kim in advance? i hate that feeling of nausea when I come 2 realize that the episode I am starting to get into has an untolerable dose of Harry Kim in it.
Its funny cuz i usually like koreans. I have sum korean frends and a lot of the best jack shaks have korean attendants. this has nothing to do with race nor ethnicity.
good crew member? yes. Its way beyond me why anyone would ever care though.

My 11 year old daughter (secret trek fan please don't tell her friends) even knows when Harry sits in the chair something ends up going wrong.
Even his genetic copy (all be it honourable brave attempt) failed in his mission.
That being said I did like him in Voyager (which I have finally found a love for).
