New Pups!! (petfinder.com)

We had to put our shih tzu poo, Louie to sleep a month ago. SOOO SAD!! He was 12.5 yrs old. We miss him TERRIBLY and our house is too quiet without a pup. Anyway, our family is now ready to get a new pup, and I actually went to petfinder.com. They have thousands upon thousands of animals in shelters and foster homes and rescue societies across the US! You could be super specific on your search!!

Anyway, that website led me to the MN Shih Tzu Rescue Foundation, and because of them, we will be getting two new pups next week! The adoption process is somewhat extensive (application, references, home visit...etc), but absolutely necessary since they're trying to find safe, forever homes for these animals.

So my parents and I found these two pups and fell in love with them! Long story short, we should be getting them next week. Anyway, if you're looking for a pet of any sort, seriously, petfinder.com is AWESOME!!

Those are adorable, Allie. How nice of you to do an adoption. When my husband and I move into our house I will probably be adopting another dog so my Pug will have a friend to play with. I will definetly be using petfiner!! Thanks!

I just talked to the foster mom of our pups tonight, and we'll be doing our home visit tomorrow evening!! That means that they may be staying at our house forever starting tomorrow night

I want my dog!...those dogs are criminally cute. If only my apartment let me have pets, I would be at that site in a second.
