And saying you were talking about childhood memories involving MJ is just opening a huge door for MJ jokes...
And you say you'll never drink again NOW, but how many people say that all the time and are right back at it the next day? :p |
Yes, it opens the door for jokes. But I meant it as us remembering trying to mimic his moves, or singing his songs... blah blah.
I always say I will never drink again, as most ppl do. However, I wont be drinking like that ever again!

Yes, I once felt that way too. Canadian whisky was once my favorite drink. That and Jager. Every night I went out I would have to spend $70+ on myself alone because of how much I drank, and I loved shots. However, Motherhood has mellowed me out and probably saved my life. But you're 21, I will be 24 in august.

pfffft, I'm sooooooooo 22.
Canadian whiskey? Canadian Club? Crown Royal? I'm sure the twins will be happy that mama-bear mellowed out a bit. I'm sure nap-time wouldn't have the same meaning if it involved shots of whiskey before hand.
Last night my buddy and I drank 24 beers and half a bottle of vodka between us while playing pool / sitting around in the garage. Fun times.

A little bit?? In almost a year I've drank 3 times. I would say A LOT! One was champagne, One was to attempt to have fun, and the other was cuz MJ died. lol. But I would never drink while taking care/nursing them. That's what my hubby is for! He takes care of them through the night.
24 BEERS? Yuck!!! I know 24 beers sounds like a lot between 2 ppl, but when you have such a high tolerance it's understandable. I don't anymore, but I once did!

I was playing in my Sunday evening pick-up hockey league the other night. I get onto the bench after playing a shift an my buddy Nick turns to me and goes "Vinny! We're playing like *beep*! Go throw a few body checks and give us some momentum!"
So my next shift out I go and nail Tim into the boards, then absolutely leveled my buddy Dan H, who's 6'8". Was hilarious. Got my team going

how liberating!
It would be nice to be able to get some anger and frustration out on people like that. For me, at least!
My wisdom teeth are hurting!! Well, it seems as if the bottom left one is cutting through. Could you believe I'm nearly 24 and they're still not even visible yet? My teeth are still in great shape, just worried. I Don't want to wake up one morning and have a tooth sticking straight out!

Yikes. That is pretty late for them to start coming up. I had mine removed when I was 18.
You should go see a dentist because if they don't have enough room while coming up, they can force your teeth out of alignment.

I am VERY pissed at Bob Gainey for not re-signing our beloved Captain of 10 years, and a player who's been with the team for 14,
Good luck in Anaheim, Saku! Hopefully Gainey gets his ass fired and you come back after your one year contract with the Ducks is up next summer,
Saku Koivu was all you could ask for from a captain. Motivating, talented, humble, respectful, well respected, he helped put a PET scanner in the Montreal children's hospital with much of his money, and running a foundation for the rest. He played with kids, was approachable, and loved the city and the fans. One of the most courageous athletes there is. Came back from 2 reconstructive knee surgeries, a stick to the eye which damaged his vision, and battled back from Non-Hodgkins lymphoma (Cancer) in time for the playoffs when he was told me may not even live several months.
Sad, sad day for most Montreal fans.

He told me once they start showing to go in. Only 1 is kinda cutting through, bottom left! I don't get it. They may never come out! He said there's plenty of room for them but of course, I would get them removed. I am freaking out cause I don't want crooked teeth.

You could always use the timeless strategy of tying a string to it at one end and to a door knob at the other then slamming the door once they've protruded enough!

Just be careful that no one comes with you that you don't mind revealing somewhat embarassing or private information to. I have had a couple of friends have some weird reactions to the drugs and anesthesea that they give you for that operation. They apparently were blabbing all sorts of things that they later did not remember.

When my mom got sugery on her teeth I had to be there to escort her in/out, but when she came out of recovery she was like WOOHOOing and saying stuff like "lets get this party started" and trying to get the receptionists to dance. lol. She took like 3 of every sample they had layed out. lol After she slept it off I informed her of how she was and she was soooo embarrased. She called and apologized, they said it happens often. haha

Weirdos!
When I went, they gave me laughing gas to knock me out. They went to start after giving me the normal dose, expecting me to be out, but I was still up. Told them I could feel my heart in my toes and asked if I was supposed to just be numbed or knocked out. They were surprised and upped the dose until U went under. I then ended up waking up faster than most people do with the regular dose, :p
Was certainly wobbly on the legs, though, so clearly I wasn't asking any receptionists to dance. I just went home to bed, :p

^ I actually had to have 2 spinal blocks to get me numb for my C-section. It was horrible!
The Anesthesiologist yelled at me because I moved during the process. I kinda shouted back... "i'm sorry! I'm terrified of needles and your sticking them in my spine!!" Soon after my legs went hot and numb. I went into shock though, they thought I was freezing because I was shaking so much. After the sugery they were stapleing and I actually felt it, so he upped the morphine.

(]) Having just gone through this so recently myself, I understand that nothing anyone says really helps, but I am thinking of you.

Thanks, I appreciate it. Was sort of expecting it. Anyways, I'm fine for the most part. Just a bit down.
