Glad you enjoyed that addition.
It's funny, actually. The "Mirror-Lauren" was actually SUPPOSED to be the REAL Lauren, except that she started letting out more of the person I based her image off of's habits. She is more, or less, biased off of a friend of mine who died several years ago. Right up to the agressiveness, and refusal to 'conform to society's requirements'. She's my personal idol. lol

USS Angel Security Lounge A&H
Alex smiled, as he walked into the Security Lounge.
"Raise." A female Security Officer said, as Alex walked in.
"Ensign Stroesser, I seriously doubt that you should be raising." A vulcan Lieutenant said softly.
"100." She finished, pushing the chips across the table.
She smirked at Alex.
He nodded, and sat down at the table.
"Kurn needs a boarding party." He said, as he sat down.
A lieutenant sitting next to the Vulcan smirked.
"Call." He said softly.
The Vulcan nodded.
"Call." The Vulcan added.
An ensign between the lieutenant and Ensign Stroesser frowned.
"Raise. 120." He said softly.
"Call." Ensign Stroesser said without blinking.
Both the Vulcan Lieutenant, and the human Lieutenant called as well.
"I'm curious..." Alex said softly.
The four stopped, and stared at him.
"Ensign Stroesser, could you not show your' hand until the others." Alex asked.
She nodded.
The Vulcan played a full house, 2's over 7's.
The Lieutenant next to the Vulcan played a full hours. 8's over 9's.
The ensign smiled. Royal Flush in Spades.
Ensign Stroesser looked at the ensign's hand.
He grinned, and put his hand on the pot.
Ensign Stroesser grinned.
"Not so fast." She said softly.
The Vulcan raised his eyebrows.
"Ensign, unless you have a Royal Flush in Hearts, you have lost your' weeks' pay." The Vulcan said softly.
Alex winked at Ensign Stroesser.
She grinned.
"No way." The ensign said softly, staring at her, then at Alex.
He nodded.
Ten, Jack, Queen, King, Ace. All in hearts.
"Alright... can we get 3 squads of Security Officers together now, seeing as you all have lost your' week's paycheques.." Alex asked.
The Human Lieutenant laughed.
"How many people do you need?" The Vulcan asked.
Alex smiled.
"Kurn wants three squads of four." Alex said softly.
"Well we have one small problem." The Vulcan replied.
"That being?" Alex asked.
"We've got four of us here. And there are 7 others on shift. We're running low on people." the Vulcan said softly.
"Sajav, you don't listen to the rumors around here that much, do you?" An ensign asked.
"Rumors are irrelevant, Ensign Johnston." Sajav said softly.
Ensign Stroesser caught on.
"Actually, Lieutenant, Sajav... do the words 'Level 27' mean anything to you?" She asked him.
The human Lieutenant looked up.
"Cherish, you've got to be joking." He said softly.
She shook her head.
"Lieutenant Hernon, he, and the woman in sickbay both blew every high score out of the water. She did it with a sword." Ensign Stroesser said softly.
"What did he do it with?" Sajav asked.
"An exacto-knife." Alex said softly.

USS Angel Security office. Kurn, Alex, Ensign Stroesser

Kurn frowned, as he looked from the petite blonde human woman, to the man from the 2000's.
"Let me see if I get this right." He said, carefully containing his amusement.
"You want to use a man who's never been on a Starbase, never been through Starfleet Academy, and never even SEEN a Jem'Hadar, as not only a member of a defencive boarding party, but as a boarding party leader." He said, keeping a straight face.
"Commander, He's excellent at tactical planning; he beat Sajav in all four variations of chess we have available, playing three of them for the first time, and then he brought Sajav to a game of something called "Final Fantasy tactics", which is actually a very addictive game based purely on tactical gameplay, and beat Sajav's time, AND score. In addition, he's played three OTHER vulcans onboard, and hasn't lost yet. Throw that in with a level 27 perfect score, and I'd say he's BETTER qualified then anyone we have to lead the primary Starbase boarding party." She said softly.
Kurn frowned.
"I intended to lead that party." He said softly.
It was Ensign Stroesser's turn to frown.
"Commander Kurn, if you are leading that party, I think you will find it hard to get people to join you. Sajav, Ensign Johnston, and I are both willing to have him along with us, but we will refuse to serve as boarding party staff if you insist on leading the party. He needs our' help, because he's used a rather clever diagnostic tool, a simple poker game. He knows Sajav is logical, and will be there to assist him, when it comes to figuring ways out of bad situations. He knows Ensign Johnston knows when he has a winning hand, and how to best abuse it. He knows that Lieutenant Hernon is a bit of a blowhard, and doesn't want him tagging along." She said softly.
Kurn raised an eyebrow.
"Of the 7 other people available, there are two vulcans, three Klingons, and two much sturdier built ensigns. I don't see why he'd want you along." Kurn said.
Alex grinned.
"I like to bring a little style to the game. Of that, Ensign Stroesser has plenty." He said softly.
Ensign Stroesser simply blushed.

D Starbase 12
Whittenhouse smiled.
"Both Angels are within Transporter Range. Reporting Defencive Landing Party Transport in five... four... three... two... one. All 4 parties are clear." Yeoman Bentz instructed.
"Good. We've been duking it out with the Jem'Hadar long enough." Whittenhouse Replied.

A/H Starbase 12, Primary Landing Party
Alex nodded to Sajav.
"Alex to the Angel; Team one reports successful beaming." Alex said softly.
Roger that, Team one. We have reports that team two has as well. Commodore Morrow said softly.
Alex gripped his phaser in one hand, and his knife in the other.
The knife was carefully crafted. It had holes for each of his four left hand fingers, and was designed to be wielded with the blade facing out.
Sajav, on the other hand, had a phaser rifle, while Johnston had dual-phasers, and Ensign Stroesser had a phaser, and a tri-corder.
"Give me a tactical read-out." Alex said, looking of Cherish's shoulder.
"Okay. Here we are. This is the Starbase lay-out. We're linking up to the Starbase's sensors. Since thier' shields fell, we've got reports of Jem'Hadar here, here, and here." She said.
"Change the colors of the dots. I want Blue to be USS Angel Boarding Party communicators, Green to be ISS Angel Boarding Party communicators, Silver to be Starbase 12 staff, and make the Jem'Hadar life-signs show up as red." Alex instructed.
"Logical." Sajav said softly.
Alex nodded.
Cherish Stroesser input the alterations into the tri-corder, and Alex nodded approvingly.
"Alright, from the looks of it, The Command center, and the Engineering department are somehow staying fortified, but they are under attack. Most of the station is, however. Team one to Team two, and both ISS Angel boarding parties." Alex said.
Sajav rose an eyebrow.
"Team two here." Kurn's voice came out.
"ISS Angel Boarding Party One reporting in." Came a different Kurn's voice.
"ISS Angel Boarding Party Two reporting." Came T'pin's voice.
"Alright, ISS Angel teams, I'm assuming you are equipped for a proper assault, correct?" Alex asked.
"Of course." the Mirror-Kurn said indignantly.
"I want you to hunt down the roaming Jem'Hadar. Kurn, I want you to lead an assault on the Jem'hadar Assaulting Engineering. We'll take the group assaulting the bridge. Any complaints?" Alex asked.
"Very logical." Sajav said, nodding to Alex.
"I'm good with that." T'pin's voice said softly.
"Sounds good to me." Mirror-Kurn replied.
"Q'apla, Alex. Ensign Stroesser was right to have you in lead." Kurn said in agreement.
That remains to be seen. Alex thought to himself.
Ensign Stroesser put a hand on his shoulder.
"Let's go party." She said softly.
Alex turned to her and grinned.
"Let's go party then." He said in agreement.
Sajav and Ensign Johnston simply shrugged at eachother, and followed.
