i work at a statistics research company called GfK. in other words, i call people up all day long and ask them stupid *beep* questions. but hey, at least it's a job.

Ahhh, so you're one of those people I tell to *beep* off?

I hate doing those surveys but my mom has no problem with them and will do them. She seems to think that because she doesn't mind, that when one of them calls asking for me or for a person between the ages of 18-25, that I'm dying to do them. So because of her, I end up wasting 30 minutes of my time because she's already told them I'll do it.

But as long as you're making money, right?

but it doesn't really matter if she tells them that you'll do them. we're not really allowed to try and convince you to do it.

if someone doesn't want to do it, all we have to say is like; "alright then, thank you for your time, have a nice day"

so that's what i spend most of my days saying.
