I live in warren Mi,3rd lagest city in Michigan, its about 4 miles north of detroit and there is a GM auto plant right across from city hall.
Now im just looking for opinions
if the media didnt publisise the failings as mush do you think sales wouldnt have dropped as steeply
Here every single day we have the news going on and on how gm and chrystler are failing i mean, really, its just overbearing why keep telling people that our main industry is failing even more everyday

I think they would still be facing problems. I mean, Toyota just posted their first quarterly loss ever, and they have a better product than GM, and certainly than Chrysler.

the media probably plays a quite small part in the decline of these companies. but like most modern media, they focus on the things that are sure to bring them profit. people want to hear about this, because it affects them, but the question is if it's what they need to hear, if it's the most important issue today.
probably isn't.

Today at 9:00 AM GM pull itself out of banckrupcy
they had to cut so many car brands its sad.
They also changed the color behind the logo to green.
Earlier in the month Chrystler merged with (FEE-oD) no idea how its spelled
Ford came out of bacrupcy a about two months ago
if only one company was going to go out of buisness i was hoping it would be ford

Ford sales increasing and they are acually beating Toyota in sales
Toyota annoucing that their sales have droped drasticly in Noth America and are looking for new options
