Mirror Universe show?

Well, I dunno about you, but of the 2 episodes of Enterprise I watched (the other one I haven't ever finished watching), I think In A Mirror Darkly was my favorite. I think a show based on the Mirror Universe in that episode would be awesome, like rebels frantically throwing everything they've got against the seemingly impregnable USS Defiant (DS9 afficionados, not THAT Defiant), excursions by the Federation into this other universe, and the fall of the Terran Empire. Plus there could be Andorian chicks in the show and that's always cool.

Sounds intriguing. If it was from the point of view of the rebels, then yes. If it was from the Terran's point of view? No. It'd get old to see over the top villains plotting the down fall of aliens each week.

Mirror Universe makes for a fun episode, but I'm not sure on series.

I really love the episodes and novels within the mirror universe, but an entire series? No, that would be a bit to much, even I can admit that, however some sort of miniseries would be cool, an original crew for the story to explore with some sort of storyline (rather then just random killing to step up through the ranks) would be good. A series would dilute things to much though, for the mirror universe plus the addition of constant cast changes (to keep it real, people'd have to die, ya know), it could just turn into the same thing over and over.

I loved those Mirror Universe episodes. I even have the soundtrack. But the Mirror Universe was not created as a meal in itself. It's a side dish and not what Star Trek is really about. What happens when you only eat the side dishes of a Thanksgiving meal? You may be able to stave off hunger for awhile but you miss a hunk of that turkey, gobble gobble.
