For over a year, topics have sprung up on how STV has lost the heavy traffic it used to enjoy in the past. Several stated the reason for that is simple: no new Trek. Does anyone else wonder if this new movie will cause a renewed interest in Trek and then cause posters to return to STV?

Personally I don't think a new board section is necessary...with this new movie I forsee a renewed interest in the Trek series and likewise a renewed interest in STV. Perhaps this new movie will even bring back old and new STV users alike. A new board section is something to consider I guess, but it really is unneccesary in my opinion as we have several new topics throughout the site involving the new movie already. Thats just my two cents  !

It's up to the mods if they wanted a topic solely on the new movie. If the spoilers are true, then it might be prudent to do that.
Anywho, I agree Curtis. I hope there is a renewed interest in Trek and as a result, more come here to post like the old days.
