Awww, I like that picture,

So, your first flight?! How'd that go? The best part is landing, non?

LOL. Well yeah, it was fine, except on the way there, right before we started to descend for our landing, one of my eyes started really hurting, and then I had a splitting headache. When I went to the toilets in the airport in Barcelona, my eye was all bloodshot. It happened at the same point on the way back, But popping my ears made it go away that time, thankfully. Yeah, apart from that it was fine! And the trip was fun fun fun. Brendan has a friend in Barcelona, Raquel, and her Dad let us have his apartment to ourselves for the time we were there, and she and her boyfriend took us out to eat and drink in the evenings. It was really fun, and we were so lucky to know somewhere there, And the apartment was in a really good location, right around the corner from the Sagrada Familia,

Does that mean you went to mass?

That whole eye thing sounds really weird/scary. But it's nice to hear you had fun!

No, we didn't go to mass. We paid to get in (they accepted our British student cards! ) and then we walked around, taking pictures, finding mistakes in the English translations on the noticeboards... And they have a museum there on Gaudi, too. But by the end of it, I was all Gaudi-ed out. I bought a picture book on the history of him, though, in French! So that should be fun.

It was scary. But at least it didn't ruin the trip. Thanks, it was great!

Yes, so I heard, You know I was only there for two hours though, right? I finally woke up, detached myself from our dog and went up to bed.

I have no idea how long I was there. I don't remember getting home. I do know that my last memory was a half hour walk from home. Then my mom woke me up at 7:30am and I went to bed until 1, lol.

Hah, that's bad, I usually remember getting home... I must've just been tired. That'll be why I fell asleep on the floor. And that carpet is so comfy, Ever since then, if I go in the kitchen when I come home from a night out when I'm back in Wales and one of my brothers is still up, they come and accuse me of "rolling around on the floor with Blue,"

Ha, I don't remember half the night.

Friday night I had 10 oz of vodka in 30 minutes before going to the bar. There I'm told I had a minimum of 3 beers, a jagerbomb, and 3 shots. That's what I've been informed of, could have been more. Then I went back to my buddy's house afterwords where I may or may not have had more. I can't remember. So, that's a minimum of 14 shots and 3 beers in 3.5-4 hours with a likelihood of more.

Then the next night I had 12 beers and 2 shots kicking around playing pool and watching movies with one of my buddy's.

I think that's just too much drinking for anyone, I don't really go out that much anymore. I get a lot of Maths work each week, and although French is only supposed to be a third of my degree, we get as much work for that than as for Maths, if not more sometimes. Just yesterday I gave a seven minute speech au sujet du microcrdit au Sngal. I had to practise a lot to avoid the bitchy teacher giving me 50%, as happened with my last presentation, Anyway, it was someone's birthday on Monday, so there's gone be a fun party this Friday with lots of drunkenness, Then same again a week today. Oh yeah, I can't afford to buy beer because I'm so poor. Aaron said he'd send money, but nothing has materialized thus far.

Haha, I do what I can. It's a talent, really. Sometimes I like to claim that it's a job.

I want in on some of that money, too!

The last time I took a French class, I didn't hand in a few assignments, was a lazy ass, was up a grade level, and still got 90%. Although it was just an Ontario high school French class.

Math makes me sad. In the pants.

Tsk, get a real job, I'll bet Aaron can afford that! I'm sure we can cut you in. I need to improooove my French. I have an interview in London in March to see if I can get an English teaching placement next year in Quebec and part of the interview is going to be in French! Like it wasn't scary enough already.

Sweet! That could be fun. French is much easier to speak than it is to write, so if the interview is oral, I'm sure you'll do well. What part of Quebec would the placement be in?

^ Yeah, as long as I think about what kind of stuff they're going to ask beforehand, I should be fine. According to the website: "There are around 40 posts available, usually in small towns (population of 5,000 – 15,000) in rural areas of Quebec. There are a few posts in and around Quebec City, and the rest are in eastern rural areas near/along the St Lawrence River and on the Gasp Peninsula. There are rarely posts in the Montreal area."

Yeah, I really couldn't see there being many posts in Montreal. It's a very bilingual city. Though, I'd highly suggest that if you do get a post and you get time off while working it, that you make a trip to Montreal. It's a pretty awesome city.

Mmmhmmm, I hope to travel around a bit and see some cool places. That's part of the attraction, In all of the case studies of people who've been there in the past, they mentioned travelling around Canada and the US a bit when they had time off.

I'm sure I've recovered completely by now. And yaaaay, I don't have any lectures on a Wednesday (except those Catalan classes I signed up for, but they're in the evening), so I slept in until 12.15pm,
