So, Aaron wanted to do this, but was clearly too shy to post it himself, so I volunteered to take care of it.
Any suggestions on what we should read first? (doesn't have to be Trek)

I am NOT a fan of the new MSN, :@
Anyway, I heard this was good. It's non fiction.

I was wondering where you had run off to.
And since I am interested, that looks pretty good. But I am not very picky.

That'd be fun. Currently i'm reading "Inkheart". It was an old man at Borders Bookstore that recommended it to me actually! I'm not too terribly far, but i'm really enjoying it atm!

Well, you know that I'm already in a book club! However, the second meeting has been pushed back three times because only me and one other person have finished the book, so I'm sure I could squeeze your book in somehow! Whatever we read is fine by me, as long as Aaron sends me a free copy. I'm not made of airports.

I suggest Aaron pick the first book? And it'd be easier to just have amazon deliver it to Tommy, I think,

How about The Boy In The Striped Pajamas? I did see the movie, yes, but as we all know books are usually much better.
(This book is Aaron approved, )

Since STV is back, (thanks for the heads up, Danni), we've had a week to come up with a different book if wanted, did anyone want, or are we good with this one?

It's set in Nazi Germany and is centered around a young boy who's father is put in charge of a concentration camp. He doesn't tell his family exactly what it is he does, and his children (mainly the son), don't have any idea that the concentration camp is anything more than a farm. I don't really know how much to say without giving too much away. It's VERY emotional.

I saw that movie title when I was picking up my mom a movie from a Red Box. Unfortunatly i'm going to have to skip out on this first book since i'm still in the middle of Inkheart. I have a HORRIBLE habit of when i stop reading a book, and start a new one - i won't finish the one that I was in the middle of reading. There are HUNDREDS of books that i'm only half way thru. Not good times i tell ya. Oh well!

So, has anyone else started the book yet?
And Grace, that'd drive me nuts, I have a few books in my room I'm reading, one in J's car, one in my bag, and one in the bathroom,

Well, I ordered it. It's probably waiting for me at home right now (going back on Saturday). I have to read The Kite Runner first though,

Don't get me wrong T - I'm not thrilled about not being able to finish all books, but if it doesn't hook me right away, i have a million other things I'd rather be (and probably need to be) doing instead. If a book hooks me though, i will read it for sure more than once!!

I finished it yesterday and OMG, it was so goooood, I know it's really short, but I read it in just two days because I couldn't put it down. Is anyone else actually reading it, or what?

Oh, I wondered why you changed the subject so quickly when I mentioned having finished it. I thought you'd read it, but now I gather you've only seen the movie, Which I now so want to do!

Goodness, didn't realize I changed the subject, I was tending Bella while trying to talk to you. Slows me up a bit, you know,

Oh please, you'd already dumped her in front of Robin Hood, Although I'm not sure that movies which deal with the subject of hanging are really suitable for one so young.
