well a basic interpid class(voyager) could easily beat a Constitution class(enterprise) becuase enterprise is in the 23rd century ship and voyager is a 24th century ship you realy can't compare them they are 100 years apart

well still a 100year old vessel in commision would still lose to more advanced ship......but if it had same wepons systems and shields etc then i would have to say that a constitution class would win

well if they ahd the same technology then the enterprise would easliy win kirk had mroe combat experiance then janeway did as well kirks crew i would say were also more experianced so if they had same technology the enterprise hands down its a cruiser jsut like voyager but was probly considered the flag ship of satr fleet at its time and voyger was a science vessel thought if a constituition class was recomisioned in the 24th century voyager would win

You're including to many variables after the fact, to which people keep asking about to. It's either a Constitution-class starship from the time of Captain Kirk, or its not. Suggesting its the class with 24th century technology defeats the purpose behind this type of topic, and creates confusion, as your topic title indicates you are asking about the USS Enterprise from TOS.

Regardless what ever Voyager went through, the Constitution-class was designed as a Heavy Cruiser. It'd beat a Light Cruiser/Science Vessel any day. That is of course, if a starship of the class had technology on par with Voyager.

i agree with the lord borg....if your trying to say if all things were even with tech lvls and such then about the only thing voyager would have on her side is agility....the enterprise would win in a fight if they were equal on tech, weapons, shields etc.

The firepower thing is obvious so I have to assume the question is about aesthetics. In that one Voyager wins hands down. Voyager was actually a sleek little ship when you think about it.

I hate to say it, but a tng shuttlecraft has more powerful computers than an old connie class. I would have to say voyager would have the edge, but Kirk would probably pull off something crazy and do a suicide warp ram or something. I give the edge to Kirk, I don't think he would be taken alive.
