I wish i could RP but i really wouldnt be able to put the time in thats required. At the miniute im running on a 3 USB internet at the minute and all i can afford on it is a 1GB download limit (which dont last long at all). Theres time when im off the net for 2-3 weeks till i can afford to top it up again. Plus my Partner lives on his mmorpg when we have the net so i dont get much time on it Only time i get to go on it is when hes at work, asleep, or has a headache lol

Sorry mate Its a shame i would love to rp again. Ive had loads of trek storys and characters stuck in my head for ages lol.

Draft time!
imma looking for possible RPGers, and Storyline co-authors to help me with an off-site Fantasy styled RPG.

RPG skill requirements:
Have a basic understanding of both the "Fantasy" style RPG, and a desire to assist the storyline along.

-As the storyline hasn't been written yet, just send me a private message, or add me to msn messenger/aim (( [email protected] for both)), and I'll get back to you once we're done. Provided this lifts off.

Co-Author requirements:
- A creative mindset.
- A rather extensive knowledge of the "Fantasy" style RPG, and a desire to craft a world from nothing but your' own imagination.

The Fantasy RPG will be predominantly played by 8 notable races, some with "sub-set" or "sub-class" races, which have yet to be picked, just yet. In addition, the character classes available will not exceed 12.
A rough "Map" of the RPG's world will be drawn up, once the basic storyline, including major towns, castles, citadels, churches, spiritual retreats, etc. have been picked, as well as proper races/classes.

Each person will be limited to two(2) character sets available. Characters may be added at any time, and may be permanently or temporarily removed at any time.
The game will also have a hefty amount of Non-Player Characters, written as if they were merely storyline characters. These characters will either be controlled by associated characters, notably the RPG's "Party" members, or more often than not, the "Narrator"((Who, considering the probabilities, will be me)).

This will be a forum-based RPG, similar to the ones once played here on STV, and will include sub-forums for characters, their' races, and classes, towns, sacred places, and items, spells, and of course, "Major" storyline NPCs.

If enough people are in favor of it, I may even consider hosting it here, on STV.

Uh....wha...? I think you had one disagreement with another member and exiled yourself from the forums believing we all magically hated you for some reason or the other.

Fantasy RPG. You need to be speaking to Valathous. The man is brilliant when it comes to stuff like that.

Indeed, however Dan is too busy giving beer cans CPR, so I'm hoping to enlist a few others to give me a hand.

Krall Long time no see

I guess life did get hectic for a lot of people.

I still do some casual RP over AIM now and then (at the moment its trek....i think,we are sort of now at end of "season") With some elements of ....FF7 (dont ask,but its working so far ).But yeah we do some quick scenes now and then just not to get rusty.

Did some Yakuza before that.Theres definately still RP people around its just with people studying and with work and such hardly anyone has the time for a dedicated RP it seems these days :/ Not to mention people like me dont fit in well with the SF rules and blew up stuff too much XD SORRY

I remember when there was like 20 at least active trek rps with various other ones like lotr and the matrix on the boards...the good old days...and then of course the large one of Founders wich i loved reading even though didnt have time to rp then .....still dont but eh :/

Also i guess a Trek RP these days is a bit of a challenge....like the tv series most plots and such might have already been done ("the borg ?...NOT AGAIN!") Guess Trek RP might also need a reboot :/ Founder etc save us !
