I highly doubt that. No offense, but, while Seven was one of the reasons probably for the Borg to constantly encounter Voyager and make attempts on the crew, or "harass" them as you so nicely put it, it wasn't the only reason. The Borg LIVE by one directive and one directive alone, "Resistance is futile, You WILL be assimilated," in which they assimilate every and any species they encounter in their continuing attempts to rule the galaxy! As for how would Voyager have been without Seven, I dont know, it probably would of stunk for some guys, lol, but I think with or without Seven VOY still would have been an exceptional show, with a few storyline modifications to make it work !

I agree with Curtis, Seven was a great character but without her the show would still have been great.

I would never have wanted that in my wildest dreams, Seven is #1.

I think Seven was a definite benefit to Voyager .. what with the countless modifications she made, as well as borg nano technology that she used quite a bit ..

As a cast member, I think her character was introduced at a good time ..

Seven of Nine was an interesting character, and contributed a lot to the series. At the same time I can easily see the series doing well without her. I guess maybe that it is just my personal indifference to her character...but I wouldn't really miss her.

Well I have to admit: if Seven hadn't been in it, I would never have thought of downloading the series. Now i'm watching the first 3 seasons again and i must say the show is superb without her too...but it was Seven who made me watch it initially, so I'd like to say to the Seven-haters that she was very important in making people watch Voyager. Of course some people might have watched the show ONLY for her, but many like myself, I believe, fell in love with the whole series, Seven or no Seven. But she was the one who made it possible, so thanx.

The show would have been even more dull than it already is.

Jeri Ryan is a good actress and as seven of nine provides alot of eye candy! I agree that she is great for getting people to become fans of the show. It was actually her that fully got me into Star Trek. Sky One was doing a special called "Beam me up Totty" showing episodes about Seven of Nine & T'Pol. After i watched it i needed more voyager and now i have all 700+ episodes of Star Trek and all the Films.

Seven of Nine was my second favorite character. As a kid I thought she was the coolest person. She was so efficient and new how to do everything. She was my idea of perfection and I wanted to be just like her!!
But really it was the Captain that made the show. She was my hero!

Interesting question.

I believe that Voyager would have been like the first 3 seasons. To me, the first three seasons were good, but not exceptionally good. When 7 came on, things seemed to become much more funnier. It's like when Worf came on DS9- it as good without him, but he made it what it was. It's the same with 7- Voyager probably would have still been a good series, but she made it was it is.

I dunno about you guys but I sure would have liked to see an episode with Seven and Dax together. Kathy was a mother to her, Dax could be like a fun aunt (or uncle, if we put in all the Curzon talk:) ), introducing her to real life. And Dr. Bashir's jaw would have just dropped at the site of them together, I'm sure.
