How do all the ships in the Star Trek universe manage to maintain gravity at all times? I can't recall a single episode, where any ship lost gravity. Even when all other systems go off line including life support. Nobodies floating around the ship...?

lol thats a good question....raven....the only time i remember off the top of my head a ship losing gravity is in startrek VI the undiscovered country....and that was a klingon ship....so i dont know maybe the federation has some-sort of awesome tech that keeps gravity on with tertiary power that is never talked about ?

I think Chakotay reports to Janeway that someone bumped their head in the shower when the gravity plating went offline on a certain deck, and I may be wrong, but I think that in one episode of Enterprise that exact same thing happens to Archer?

In one of the voyager episodes, the wounded 8472 kills gravity. It's sci-fi so no way to know for sure, but it's some kind of circuitry running through the ship.

That was 'Prey' in the last 2/3s of season four. It was the only instance in Voyager that displayed the loss of gravity; Magnetic gravity boots, spacesuits, etc. They finally get gravity working for that deck and then Seven saves the day.
