Unfortunately, there is no part 5. But this certainly smacks the idea that only ENT destroyed continiuity. Support a reboot now?

when has startrek science/tech ever been truely thought out? every time a new series, movie, game or book comes out something has changed...sometimes it is explained like the extra decks on the enterprise-E from first contact to nemisis and being retro-fitted, and other times it is never explained how something could happen ... it just makes things funny when you catch on to it

It does make it fun to point out, but I wish the writers were more careful with stuff like this.

ya very true but there are times they cant like introducing enterpise as a series everything that was said in the other 4 series about the past pretty much destroyed the abilty to make it into a show...so they just had to pretend that nothing was ever said about the first enterprise being under kirk or no phasers etc

Then one has to ask what the point is of using the name Trek? There are websites like Memory Alpha (Star Trek Wiki) that helps maintain continuity.

I'll admit that some of those "mistakes" on the video are easily explainable.

yes some of them are....and ya i love memory alpha so helpful with everything ... its about the only wiki that i trust. but ya i especially loved the ive never kissed you with a beard before, and then all the times she had done it....i went to nemisis opening night with 2 hardcore trek buddies and 3 buddies who were like meh ok...and me and my 2 trekky buds were laughing like hell at that one, confused at the 5 extra decks, and no nacells out the breifing room windows, and the chasm like my post is about but ya then we walked out crying with our other 3 friends like....umm O_o are you crying kuz Data died....wtf?

These are interesting, I've only seen the first video so far, but from what I saw a good deal could be explainable. Unfortunately, they weren't really "explained" and ended up being called an error of some sort. Then there are some I saw that are so blatantly not an error that I wonder why they are in the video being counted as a "mistake". Worf is a good example, while some sort of give away line about why he was around could have been good, I always assumed he was along for the ride, as he was attending the Earth and Betazed wedding of Riker and Troi.

Another one is Data's emotion chip, I wouldn't call a prop change an error, considering how small the original prop was (and the fact the episode was on several years before Generations was made), they probably had lost it shortly after filming, let alone by the time the movie came about. Also, for the placement of the chip? One of them is clearly Lore, with the other being Data, and Data himself has mentioned that there were differences between him and Lore (in terms of construction, I mean).

When you'd scream I'd fight away all of your fears
And I held your hand through all of these years
But you still have
All of me
