I believe it was a pretzel.

All I am saying is that I am amazed at all of the liberals rebuking any Republican who disparages or doubts Obama after the atrocious way many of them acted in 2004.

Just because some liberals acted inappropriately does not make my feelings on the subject less valid. I do feel, and have felt in the past, a great deal of animosity and even hate towards certain republicans for what they did to me personally. On the other hand, there are many others that I still like from back in the day (as recent as '05, mind you) when I was a republican. I feel that the 'it's the end of the world, my party lost!' sentiment is a negative for the country no matter who it's coming from.

Congratulations, President-elect Obama. I will neither attempt to dispute your victory, nor will I bitterly attack you during your presidency on a political agenda. I hope you will supersede my expectations of you on the issues with which I am concerned, or at least not be the disaster I originally feared you would undoubtedly be. And I will serve under you as Commander in Chief, for as long as you will continue to serve the country.

Once again, Congratulations. I'll admit that I was not pleased, but at least this battle is over.
