I know that the fictional crew complement of Voyager is around 150. But each episode always had numerous background extras, sometimes as cannon fodder, but usually just manning workstations, walking through the corridors, or running around engineering.
My question is: does anyone know how many different actors (including extras) actually appeared as members of Voyager's crew? Over seven seasons, my guess would be around 500. I tried looking for an answer already online but was unsuccessful. I figured someone here might know the answer, or at least know where to look or ask.
It's just an idle curiosity, of course. But I always felt there was the potential for so many recurring minor characters on the show, and the truth is that there were less than 10 recurring crewman in the series, perhaps less than 5.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

According to imdb.com there were 139 actors on Voyager. That includes main characters and some extras, but I don't think that includes everyone. It seems like there should have been a lot more like you said.

Yeah, it would be a waste of money. There's no need to show every member of the crew. You can always just have people with their backs to the camera, or change their uniforms. The audience probably won't notice.
