So, who else is watching any of this? It's kind of sad how (in the US at least), it's pretty much ignored now.

Yeah, you know I'm watching it a fair amount. I don't sit there all day watching it, but if I wanted to, I could, because the BBC has almost constant coverage on its two flagship channels. Great Britain did well in the cycling today and I was very impressed, It was exciting!

I've been watching it when I get a chance to. I really like the gymnastics, but I'm always afraid someones going to blow out their knee or something else. I really hate seeing those types of things.

I love the gymnastics, but no longer being able to watch broadcast television means I can only see what makes it online.
I will get my aerial fixed

I watched some of the gymnastics, which was cool. I'm not big on sports, though, so it's really not a big deal to me as far as being interested in *watching* it. I think the symbolism is very cool.

I never really watched the Olympics, while the idea behind it is definitely cool, I am just not a fan of sports.

It's not the Olympics that I have an issue with((however, Canada's presence is somewhat laughable, at present... 10 medals. Total. A single US athlete has 8. He's like... 4/5 the power of an entire country.)), it's China's human rights violations en masse.
I can't wait to have the Olympics here in Vancouver in 2 years. Then I'll actually watch it. On T.V.. Because the ticket prices are OUTRAGEOUS.
((Even to Vancouverites.))

I have to agree with Chris on this subject, I enjoy the concept of the Olympics, but I really never could get into them myself...even though I am a huge sports fan, lol!
