First, let me point this out, I'm a Niner, so, I automatically have a bias against VOY. Now, upon viewing this particular episode(s), Year of Hell, I've got some things to say. While it was a genuinely good episode of VOY, I've got some problems with several aspects of the episode. Now, onto my first point...
1. Just how the hell did Voyager manage to survive for that long, in that condition? It was pursued by Krenim vessels (before the majority of the Imperium was wiped out, again) for about three months. That is completely ridiculous. Had this been DS9 and the Defiant had been the ship being pursued for so long, the Defiant would've surely been destroyed. Then, again, as I'm sure everyone is going to say "You can't destroy Voyager or there would be no show, anymore." Well, obviously, however, I'm just stating that this was ridiculous. The episode should've been made the "Month of Hell" instead. That's a bit more realistic.
2. Janeway, Janeway, Janeway...the master hypocrite of the universe. She annoyed the heck outta me in this episode, ten thousand times more than usual. Not only did she violate clear Starfleet orders, she turns around and then goes on to reprimand others about following their orders. What...? When the Doctor is trying to tell her to take a break, she yells "Captain's orders!" about giving her the medicine. The Doctor did not have to comply. In the case of all things medical, the CMO has more authority than the Captain. Also, the fact that Janeway was stupid enough to go back and attack the Krenim vessel was...well, that's Janeway for you. And, she doesn't seem to have the ability to accept anything anyone else ever says. It appears to me that she only thinks that her opinion is right. She shot down Chakotay and Seven's plans (which were good plans, mind you), though, she eventually agreed to Chakotay's, only a long time afterwards. Ugh. I hate Janeway with a passion.
The rest of the episode was solid. I enjoyed it. However, I simply HAD to vent that. Voyager fans...I await your responses with bated breath. I doubt they'll be positive.

I agree with number 1, as the Krenim had some pretty amazing weapons. A possible explanation is that though they were pursued for 3 months, they weren't fighting the whole time. They probably encountered a ship every 3 or 4 days, that is still about 2 dozen battles; it's a stretch but they might be able to survive that.
For number 2, the doctor said she was suffering from a traumatic stress disorder which was messing with here judgment, that could explain that.

I actually just watched these episodes earlier today, both were on Spike tv. You'd think that they could just fire there weapon at Voyager untill the whatchamacallit shields diminished and voyager goes bye bye. This would cause major catastorphies but what they hey? no voyager means no complete loss of the Krenim Imperium. I must have missed something but i looked over and suddenly there were 4 ships backing up Voyager, i'm not sure how that happened, but i need to pay more attention

As with any science fiction its easy to stretch matters quite a bit and so it is with Voyager. Apparently the ships back-up system was just as important as the ships system. The food synthesizer was out but the synthesizers were still intact and the core systems. They went into a safe zone to repair warp-drive and life-support. The important things to keep the ship stable were synthesized. In Deadlock when Voyager was attacked by the Vidiians and the ship split into two different ships the ship that got all beat-up made it through and was repaired.
The crew wanted to use the escape pods but Janeway wouldn't let them. It was Janeway who kept the ship together to return home.

The way I see it, perhaps te Chronoton Torpedoes probably dont pack such a big wallop - maybe thats the trade off for being able to attack a vessel through its defenses using a temporal flux...very small explosive package to make room for teh temporal flux generator.
anyway, with regards to No Voyager, No Krenim Imperium, well, the way I saw it is that the Krenim Time Weapon Ship was its own temporal incursion - history could never be made right because it existed - if it never fired in the first place things would never have gone wrong in the first place. So Voyage crashes into it, causins a temporal incursion within the ship, the ship never existed, so Voyager was never destroyed, and all is right for te Krenim 200 years ago.

They could've done that, but the big ship couldn't exceed warp 6 so voyager ran away.

A better than average Voyager story that I would think a DS9 viewer would get something out of.
That Ahnold line from Janeway at the end, "Time's up!" was awful. No line at all there would have been much better.
I imagine that Voyager could find hiding places for months at a time, to do repairs.
Of course the Captain can give a doctor orders on medical matters, especially if the doctor doesn't even officially exist as a person. The circumstances where a doctor can supercede a captain's authority are very specific and narrow.
It's a nice moment, where Janeway chooses to go into the burning room, arranging ahead of time for treatment for the severe burns she knew she was going to receive.
The very end was nice... a nice criticism of anal obsessive thinking, and how it can create traps you can never get out of... unless you have a Janeway handy, to plough her ship into you.

I had my thoughts on this episode. I rewatched it the other day. And a few things came to mind. So symbolism I never really noticed before. It had occurred to me when Janeway decides to stay with the ship and Tuvok responds by saying it's just a hunk of metal. She disagrees by saying that it's been their home, a place they could always go back to and that reminded me of a few other 'objects' in the episode that carried symbolism and emotion.
Janeway's Lucky Tea Cup: a foreshadowing it had been with her for four years and never broken until now.
Obrist's Game: While playing with Tom (as Tom is trying to charm information out of him) he's reminded of his brother. Someone who he had loved and lost 200 years before.
Annorax's Lock: It seems no matter what he does the colony where his wife died in 200 years has never once been restored. And the only thing of her's that he has left is the lock of her hair. Interestingly just before the timeline is restored the container shatters, and w/o knowing it get's his wife back.
Janeways' Watch: A birthday gift from Chakotay. Once she ordered him to recycle. Interestingly out the things broken and shattered on the ship, she found the watch later on intact. Like Obrist's game and Annorax's Lock of Hair it symbolizes a loss.
