Caps lock - kinda annoying. Not the point.
Seven's clothing, much like Neelix's, icheb's, the other borg kids, and Kes's clothing was different because they were not part of the crew.

It seems to me that there was something said once about her cothing serving some sort of purpose...probably for efficiency. I can't quite remember though.

Yeah, totally agree with squiggy on the caps lock comment and the other comment.
I can't even imagine Seven in a more official starfleet uniform, it would take away from her sex appeal and Jeri Ryan has too much of that to try to cover up, I mean why would you want to do that when you can dress her the way they did and make her look much better than she would have looked in a starfleet uniform.
Speaking of Neelix's clothes tho...LOL, what a freak, I personally never cared too much for Neelix, my outlook on him might have been completely different if they would have casted someone else to play his role.

Well my goodness sorry for the caps being locked . I would think that since we are all voyager fans we would have more fun things to talk about. And not worrying about the caps being locked or not locked or not.

You know I've given some thought to her clothes and while I do think the body suit fits the character (though no need to be so tight) the high heeled shoes don't make sense to me. For the demographic of course I know that reason but what I mean is. Not to the character. She never wore heels as a borg, sit, eat, etc...so if it was so hard for her in the beginning to do these other things why the shoes? Maybe over time as a special occasion but not for everyday duty.
