Yeah sort of here!

I like it. But it does look like the defiant. But it's that like with cars and stuff, with just tiny variations but they make all the difference to what class it's put in.

what about joining parts of it up to make it look a little different?

I think I can get her lookin my like my sketch if I extend the front rounded shoulders on each side of the nose!!

Then round some parts off like in your sketch!!

Ya know what?
Its headin in a better direction now.
But the nose is bothering me ALLOT!

In case anyoine noticed. I am trying really hard to smooth the edges of the original Defiant design.
In hopes that a smoohter lookin Defiant would give the empression of a more sleeker and futuristic version of the original design.
Its the reason why I FLIPPED out when I seen ZIppys idea..
Smoother is better.
But on nose it jus isn't doin it for me..

Don't get me wrong I think the rest of the ship should stay rounded and smooth but I'm gonna try to make a more "Defiant" lookin nose..

This might be a lil tough but here goes..

Ok. lets start off with the basic shape..
If anyone of you have seen any of the previous ships I've posted on this forums. you probely already know that I'm a hard core box modeler when it comes to my 3d meshes..
So in keepin with that style.
I'm gonna box model the nose of course..

Cleaned it with some patterns simular to the defiant but changed them a bit to make it look new'ish.. lol

To be honest I like this new nose job.
Although the other nose was smoothe and rounded like the rest of the ship the old one was too bulky and bolbus lookin for my taste.
