Ok. this is how it all started..
I was looking at my old official Star trek magazine.
You know the August 1999 one with Nicole Deboer on the front?

I saw some Kewl early USS Defiant designs and I thought I would make one simular but not dead on since I'm almost certain its probely been done before!

At first I was gonna name this the rogue but liked Quest better since its a three deck scout ship!!

This is the picture I'm basing my new design off of..

Welp I got all my edges and angles smoothed out.
Looking a little closer to the concept I sketched and posted above.

Next step will be adding a nice metalic skin to the Hull.
And maybe some nice red stripes like the Defiant?
Not sure tho.. its a real pain in the arse for me to get red striped to fit correctly on a skinned hull.. Buuuuut I'll give it a shot!

The first one didn't look too great. It looked as if it was made of concrete, so I added a shine to this one.

Hmm.
I'm not to happy with it so far..
It reallllllly looks TOO much like the Defiant and not the original concept I tried to tweak..
I might jus scrap the entire project..
Kinda frustrated.
