M. Night Shyamalan's newest movie will star Mark Wahlberg. This is how Shyamalan describes the plot, "it's a paranoid thriller about a family on the run from a natural crisis that presents a large-scale threat to humanity." I've seen all of his movies and enjoyed them all. The best was Signs. I'm looking forward to this one.

I have to admit, this movie is indeed interesting. Can't wait to see it.

I like his movies, but I just hope it's better than the last one.

Mark Wahlberg was good in Shooter (2007)

I meant M. Night Shyamalan. I was kind of just trying to have to avoid spelling his name. I still don't know if that's right.

I loved Lady in the Water even though most people didnt. Did you know that it's based on a bedtime story that he made up for his kids?

I do agree that it was the weakest of the five.

Here's how I rank them

1- Signs
2- The Sixth Sense
3- The Village
4- Unbreakable
5- Lady in the Water
??- The Happening (I'll rank it on Sunday after I see it)

Watched this movie today. As to not post a spoiler alert, I will not go into detail. Good movie overall IMHO though

I'm glad to hear its good. The Democrat & Chronicle's (a rochester newspaper) critic gave it a 4 out of 10. But hes like 70 and he always gives movies that aren't oscar worthy bad scores.

He also gave the Incredible Hulk and Iron Man a 6 out of 10...we need new blood here in Rochester

Saw it today. I don't claim to be a big fan of... M., but I liked this movie a good deal. First of all, Marky Mark's in it. Need I say more? Then, there was the fact that the movie was unintentionally hilarious... unless it was intentional, and if that were the case... well, then, I wouldn't know what to say.

I saw it today with my dad and some friends from work. I would have to say it was good, although its not his best movie. Love Wahlberg though.

just popping in....

I'm sorry, but this movie was awful. M. Night is in line with George Lucas to get his ass kicked by screenwriters around the globe. If you can't write DIALOG then don't write your own frakking script!! Get someone who knows how to do it, someone who was trained, who has skill, and who actually interacts with people in the real world.

The acting sucked as well. I'm a big fan of Mark and Zooey, but seriously... I suppose you can't act if you don't have anything to work with.

Please don't be bad moviegoers and fall for M. Night's evil spell...

The dialog wasn't like normal movies, none of his films are like that. I like the way he does it. I think its one of the reasons I like him so much. I'm not saying that this movie was great. In fact I think it was his worst. But not because of the dialog or the acting. It needed a bigger payoff. Thats just my opinion though.

The awkward acting and poor dialogue are part of the reason why I enjoyed the movie so much. Like I said, unintentionally hilarious.

Yeah, the part where wahlberg is talking to himself and the camera is up-close (you know when he calls himself a d.b.), that's one of the best parts and its funny. I don't think it was unintentional
