How can people vote this to be the dullest Sci-Fi show ever????? It's like the very best there is.
And it's too bad Picardo get's to lead the expedition. No offence, he's a great actor and the Doctor was one of my all time fav. characters. But the character he play's just doesn't seem up to the job and Carter (Amanda Tapping) is just a little bit better.
Owh and btw, one the guy from ST:ENT (who plays Micheal in SGA) is a great addition to the series.

Well, I am by no means an expert, but I have a few things to say about it. I caught it passing thru channels about 3 weeks ago and have watched it every time i see it on sense that day. To me..IMHO...it's better than the original. But, I like the new actors pretty well. I agree that the actors in the original make a great crew, but doing everything from earth just got boring after how ever many years they had SG:1 before they popped out Atlantis. Now if they interacted the SG:1 crew with the Atlantis crew every now and again, it could possbly revitalize SG:1 while boosting Atlantis even more ...Of course I don't know. I've only seen a few epis of Atlantis, so maybe they do have quite a few shows with the SG:1 guys...let me know if they do

They mix occasionally, there's also a SG-1 episode where they visite Atlantis. Also, Sam (from SG-1) is was on the main cast for like an entire season.

Ok, so first off...hurray Atlantis is back!!! Secondly, Woolzy (or whatever it is) in charge??? What were they thinking?! I'm not saying this is going to ruin Atlantis cuz Picardo is a great actor, but Woolzy running Atlantis...this cant and likely wont turn out good !
