Captain Hamilton watched Abby leave.
Laurynn stared at him, watching her go.
"You... loved her once. Didn't you." Laurynn asked.
He frowned, and looked down.
"You... oh my." She said softly.
He turned back to her.
"I'm afraid we've got enough doctors. So uh... I don't... exactly know what to do with you." Captain Hamilton said, and left the Security Office.
She frowned.

USS Vengance, Orbitting SSS Justice Jack Williams
Jack smiled, as he carefully piloted the Vengance.
He never liked sitting on the ship, when the Captain, Commander Diann, and assorted crew members were at high tension.
So he sat out here. In the Vengance. Enjoying the peaceful quietness of having no one else on the ship.
He smiled, softly laughing.
He had picked up something strange from that woman. It was something he was good at. Character reading.
He smiled, and stared at the readings.
And then he cursed.
"Vengance to the Justice. I've got some bogeys showing up on scanners. Relaying Sensor readings now." He said into the intercomms.
Except the Intercomms were being jammed.
"Computer, display time difference between Vengance's Sensor readings, and the Justice's sensor systems." Jack instructed.
"Estimated time, due to inferior Romulan Sensor scanners, is 2 minutes, 37 seconds." The computer said, and the timer showed up on his screens.
"Time to weapons lock of the Vengance, The Justice, and estimated Enemy weapons range." He instructed.
"Estimated time to Vengance's weapons lock is 3 minutes, 57 seconds. Estimated time to Vengance cannot be calculated; Weapons are off-line for repairs, Cannot calculate Infinity. Estimated Enemy Weapons range is 3 minutes 30 seconds." The Computer said softly.
Jack frowned.
"Computer, activated Red Alert, plot an intercept course. Attempt to use any form of communications to warn the Justice." He instructed.
"Communications being jammed on All Frequencies. Red Alert Activated. All systems are now on battle-alert status. Course plotted." The computer said softly.
"Helm to manual, display course." He instructed.
The computer played the course, and the manual controls took-over most of the controls.
Taking control of the shuttle, he smiled as he exited the shields.

SSS Justice T
Thomas frowned, as he watched the shuttle varying from it's usual orbit, and heading directly behind.
"All stop, follow Jack. He's got better sensors. Try and contact him. Move to Yellow alert." He instructed.
Frowning, he turned to the person at the comm center.
"Captain... all we're getting is garbage over the comms. I think it's getting jammed." The ensign said.
Captain Hamilton nodded.
"Are weapons still off-line?" He asked.
The ensign nodded.
"Red Alert! Captain Rockholt, Commander Diann to the bridge please." He exclaimed.

Abby: "on my why" Abby put on her uniform and headed to the bridge.the captain enformed abby and josi what was going on..

Abby : is there any way we can rerout power from some of the ship to get the wepons back on line???? Abby thought to herself we could always takeit form the brige but she knew if she did that all hell would brake lose..

Brandon had been sitting in sickbay, in his office, Watching as peopl ecame and went, as the EMH was taken offline, and overall as the chaos cotinued. He said little, as he was not one to associate with others after his arrival on the ship. Apparently, the crew had an EMH at their beck and call, and numerous other people who were qualified enough to handle minor medical decisions. In that stead, Brandon only had to be summoned if something extreme happened. So Brandon sat, reading his PADDs as battles were initiated, fought, and apparently won; people came and went out of sickbay; and as parts of the crew went from ship to shuttle to planet to shuttle and back to ship again. If he was needed, they would ask for him. As for his position on the ship, Brandon was ranked at the Commander level. This allowed him command decisions as well as the ability to override his medical staff if he so chose. This was a nice little tool, but meant little to Brandon, knowing that his knowledge rivaled even the EMH program itself. In major events, Brandon was supposed to be notified so he could have his staff prepare for casualties, but around here, the ship was run more like a 'friendship runabout' than a starship. He understood that the Federation was in shambles, but none-the-less, things (in his opinion) should still be run with a bit of tact and respect for the command structure. As he read over his PADDs, he saw that the captain had, yet again, deactivated his EMH. Brandon sighed and looked at the ceiling.

"Computer, activate Emergency Medical Hologram in sickbay." Brandon watched as the EMH materialized and motioned for it to come into his office. He smiled at the being he had named Max and motioned for it tosit in a chair across the table. "So Max, he did it again eh?" he said with a bit of humorous. Max looked back at Brandon and responded. "I just don't get it sir. What isit with this crew and their obvios lack of care for their wellbeing?" brandon shruged at the statement and leaned back in his chair. "Maybe they will realize the need fo the checkups and routine calls when their bodies start to shut down on them." he smiled and nodded at the EMH to shake it off. "Go ahead Max, find something else to do t occupy your time. I'll handle the captain." He stood and started to exit sickbay.

In the hall, Brandon stopped right outside the door to sickbay and looked up. "Computer, locate Captain Hamilton." he declaredin a stern tone. He sat staring at the ceiling, waiting for a respnse.

USS Vengance Jack Williams
Jack frowned, as he glowered at the sensor readings.
"Attempt to contact the Justice again." Jack said, annoyed.
The computer played an affirmative noise, and then a vented an air-lock, sounding very similar to someone sighing.
"Communications still not possible. For the four hundredth, ninety second time." The computer voice said in an odd tone of voice.
"Computer, deactivate personality protocols." Jack instructed.

Bridge
Captain Hamilton frowned at the computer displays.
"I'm getting tired of fighting EVERYBODY. Just once I'd like to fight NOBODY for a day or two. You know?" He asked Captain Rockholt softly, trying not to be noticed.

"Ah, yes, Captain Rockholt, I'm afraid we've kinda kept you out of the loop. Seems that planet that Commander Diann thought would be a great place for shore leave, decided they wanted to kidnap our' crew, and brainwash the females into thinking they were natives to the planet, and mate with all the males. While I personally wouldn't have minded someone whipping the last year and a half out of my mind, I had the crew to think about. Not to mention my life before the bloody borg attacked." Captain Hamilton said, glaring at the view screen.
"Commander Diann, give them another volley of torpedoes. Refrain from using disruptors until they get too close, and then overcharge the disruptor banks by 12%, only firing each bank once every 7 to 10 seconds. The system will say it'll burn out, but if you keep it down to about 2 or 3 second bursts, the ship will handle it fine. Keep it under 5 seconds, or we'll blow a conduit somewhere. And that'll be expensive to fix. Or atleast that's what the tech manuals translate." Captain Hamilton instructed.

Laurynn Shavran walked onto the bridge. With a security detail.
Captain Hamilton nodded his head.
"Doctor, if you happen to know ANYTHING about those ships that can give us a hand, I'd greatly appreciate it." Captain Hamilton said softly.
She stared at the ships, and sighed.
"If you were only a starship Captain, and not a doctor, I wouldn't help you. All I can tell you is that the ships are designed with stronger shielding around the command center, and the engines. I overheard that from an engineer patient of mine. Past that, I'm a technological ludite, Doctor." She said softly.
He nodded.
"You heard the woman, Commander Diann. Don't target engines or command centers. Pick 'em off the hard way. It's easier." Captain Hamilton instructed.

Jack: sir.. everything seems to be ok.. teams r in the prosses of fixing anything that might have been damaged.. other than that we r good.

Abby :* abby puts her hand on his shoulder*" thanks you jack .. im going to the messhall for coffee keep the captains and me informed... jack you have the bridge. " Abby leaves and heads to the messhall.

She enters" coffee 2 and 2" she gets it and she looks out in space @ the stars.. she hears the door open . she looks and sees that its thomas she looks at him with the look like he might realy care what has been going on with her..she looked back @ the window " you come to yell @ me even more since i left your office .. to tell you the truth sir.. i think i need some time to thing about whati did so i think im going to talk 1 day off.. ' abby said all this while looking it the window.. what she didnt know that is not what he came to say .. she just didnt knwo it yet.

Thomas stopped, after hearing Abby's clumsy cover for her inner confusion.
He sighed.
It was probably a good thing she didn't want to talk, because for some reason, Thomas couldn't figure out exactly what he wanted to say, all the sudden.
He simply nodded, and left.
thomas. what r you thining.. letting her stay on this ship the words rung in his mind.

Thomas stopped, realizing he had been wandering through the ship, and managed to end up back at the Bridge.
He walked down to the command seat, and sat down.

...Wouldn't have it any other way. You'd probably kill her.

Thomas stopped, and wondered, for the hundredth time how good of a Doctor Abby would have made. It occured to him, that the phrase "Do no harm" would be a difficult mandate for her to follow.
Thomas turned to Captain Rockholt.
"Is it just me, or is Commander Diann gotten significantly more brash about things since... the attacks?" Thomas asked.
And a thought rang through his mind.
How am I supposed to understand what she is going through, if I decide she can't possibly understand what I am going through?
"Forget it Josi." He said softly, and walked off the bridge to his quarters.
"Computer, I'm going to bed. Seal the door with a damn forcefield, I don't want to be woken up." He instructed it in Binary code.
The computer played an affirmitave noise, and a slight buzz began to emit from the door.

Dreams
Captain Hamilton found himself sitting on the distressingly familiar bridge of the USS Griffon.
He knew exactly when this was. He had imagined this moment several thousand times over the last year.
He watched Hailey, trapped by her chair, hit the controls, and send the Griffon into the Borg cube, following another of the starships from the convoy.
"HAILEY!" He yelled out.
Just before impact, he jolted awake.

Captain's Quarters
"And people wonder why I don't sleep..." He muttered to himself.
He sat there, on the edge of his bed, annoyed, and staring at the ceiling.

Captain's log, unknown Stardate.
I made the mistake of trying to sleep today. Dreams... they keep sending shivers down my back. I've noticed that Commander Diann has become increasingly agitated over the last few days, especially since the woman from Tarynn has come aboard. I think my decision to make her stay onboard is creating a rift between Abby and I, however I'm not sure how, or if I should fix it. First, I think I need to go see a certain good doctor about something for a good dreamless sleep.

"Computer, de-activate forcefield." Thomas said, as he walked towards the door, and out, through the bridge to sickbay.

Sickbay

The EMH fizzled into being when he entered.
"Doctor, I'm not interested in talking to you. Is Brandon around?" Thomas asked.
The EMH turned to him.
"The doctor has been looking for you, I believe." The EMH said.
A brief burst of static came from Thomas's lips, and the EMH dissolved.
Thomas walked into Brandon's office.
"Doctor. I understand you wanted to talk to me. Which is good, because I've got a few things I need to have a chat with you about." Thomas said softly.

these last few days have been hard.. the captain letting the same person that tryed to kill me.. stay on this ship..and him being stuburn as a lways make it had for either of us to even get along.. i wonder if there is anyway i could cnage history .. i think i might need to look in to that.. make it to were i had neve joined this crew or even better me and the captain had never even met.. end long.Abby finished .. as she did she heard her door ring.. "How can I help you captain?" Brandon stated with a sense of calm. After many years, Brandon had finally learned that showing emotion was a quick door to stereotypes. He leaned forward in his chair noticing the captains soft tone.

Shavran does something and puts them in a time loop were they repeating last 30 mins over and over again and the crew donent even relize it .Shavran walks away and she walks the ship and she shartes to meditat and she takes her spirt to were the captain and the commander is ..

"Great,we must be in some sort of time loop and the two commanding officers have seemed to disappear. This is just great. Take us out of here,impulse engines only. Jack,keep scanning. They're out there somewhere and we're going to find them."

Yelling wasn't normally in his nature, but he felt the need to yell.
He didn't know why he needed to yell, other than it felt good.

Captain Thomas glowered at her.
"Fine." he said, nodding.

Laurynn Shavran shook her head.
"You two will never work this out properly..." She said, shaking her head.
She pulled out a hair pin, and twisted it.
A small shimmer flowed through Thomas's vision, and he was back on the bridge.

Laurynn quickly put her hair back in place.
Thomas turned to her.
"What the hell was that?" He asked her.
She shook her head, and smirked.
"Some of my people's technologies are... unique." She said.
"Let me rephrase this. WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT?" He yelled at her.
She laughed.
"It's a small dimensional generator. It can manufacture a small room for about 5 to 10 minutes. I understand that some members of my planet's government were trying to use it to make the room larger, and as a weapon, but the technology simply doesn't work that way." She said softly.
Thomas frowned.
"If you use that on me again, I'll kill you." He replied just as softly.
She smiled.
"I expected about as much." She replied.

Thomas frowned, staring at both Laurynn, and at Abby.
He turned to Jack.
"Shoot me." He mouthed.
Jack shrugged, and turned back to the helm.

" captain.. please come in.. what r u doing here?. look sorry for all the drama.. it going to be fine.. * abby looks down* remember they guy i was with on sylark? it fells like that.. but with out the baby. * abby looks at her* i never told anyone this but expept jack.. i told hima long time ago.. but anyways after we got home i went on with my life . but a few years ago. i lost my son. he was kidnaped and i havnt seen him since.. yeah it been hard.. and then coming here find out im working with thomas.. it makes it worst.. b/c.. im taking my anger out on him and i dont mean to.. and we both have problem and she take then out on each other! but we dont have to worry about that anymore.. i trying to design a way to make it to were i can erase..any part with working with thomas in the past.. and ever rememebering my son.. so far it coming along well i give a few months and i will have it done.. but dont worry i would never erase you from my past.. but i would like it if you didnt tell anyone about my plan .. not even thomas.. please.."

Josi walks into Abby's quarters and listens as she talks. she then sits on the bed.

"Abby,do you think that's really a good thing to do? Erase almost everything from the past? if you have feelings for anyone on this ship,especially Thomas, I think you should give it a try.
