First do yall think there will ever be another series? and if so, what should it be based on?

I think there will be eventually. It had better be one taking place after or around the time period in which Nemesis took place. That way they could have guest stars from the TNG, DS9 and VOY series. I think that would be the best way to go.

sorry, im new to the forum. but i just checked, and noticed that no one has posted a comment in Future of star trek in like a year. so i dont see why it matters

It's ok. I'm not criticizing, I'm just asking.
I'm not sure if there will be another series. It depends on if the movie they are making is a box-office hit.

If a new series depends on whether the movie succeeds or not then we are in for a long long wait.
If they release the next movie during the summer blockbuster season then it is all over for the movie and then by virtue of what you have stated Founder the series is gone.

they pushed it back until May
