Blah blah blah, it's still April, blah blah, still early, blah blah blah, anything can happen.

So, Red Sox are in first place, If that weren't good enough on it's own, Yanks are in last. Behind Tampa Bay!

Mirabelli almost just nailed A-Rod with his bat, I'm sure it wasn't so funny if you were A-Rod, or if he'd been hit, but, he wasn't, so it is!

Wait, so did he hit him or not?

(Cubs are up 7-0 on the Cardinals!)

"Almost" nailed A-Rod, So no, he missed. Score is 3-0 Yanks atm, not looking good for Boston. Oh well?

The sweep increased Boston's lead in the AL East over the second-place New York Yankees to 9 1/2 games. The last time the Yankees were that far back was after games of Sept. 6, 1997.

I was so rooting for the White Sox this week, and they came through! YAY!

Youkilis hit an inside the park homerun tonight! Also, the Red Sox now have a 13.5 game lead on the Yanks, who are tied w/ TB for last place, Closest I think is Baltimore. Either them or Toronto, obviously, since those are the five AL East teams.

Trot Nixon got THREE standing ovations, (It was his first time back at Fenway since leaving the Sox for the Indians).

I feel as if I'm talking to myself...

Aww, no, I'm heeeeere!

So Nixon is still on the Indians, and they were playing the Indians?

Cubs are like 22-27 or something... I'm still hoping they can turn it around but we'll see. If they don't win it this year it will be 100 years since they won the World Series. lol

Phew. Les Tigres managed to take two from the Indians after losing to them five times in two weeks. I can attribute those losses to our closer, Todd Jones.

Well, we'll be better off come July when Rogers and Zumaya come back. Honestly, this year, our pitchers have been hit hard. Bonderman, Rodney, Rogers, Zumaya, all have been out this year. Luckily, Bonderman's back and he's doing wonders.

The AL Central is definitely the toughest division in the AL, no doubt about it. We've got my Tigers (), the Twins, the Indians, the White Sox, and, oh, let's not forget the division's punching bag, the Royals.

Hopefully, we can just hold out 'til July and not let the Indians take too big of a lead in the division. While it might not mean much right now, we're the Wild Card right now. Hopefully we can keep that or do better for...oh...a few more months.

You'll never hear me say this again in my life, but...

Go Red Sox!

So I'm sure we've all at least heard of the hidden ball trick, right? Well, the Red Sox pulled a variation of that tonight,
One of the D'Backs, dunno which, got a hit, went flying around second, decided he couldn't make third, so dove back for second, Lugo missed tagging him out by seconds. So Lugo just walks around the back of second base, having not thrown the ball to the pitcher. The D'Backs player took his hand off the base and stood up, Lugo quickly tagged him out, Good thing the ump was still looking.

Congrats to the Red Sox. Unfortunately I have to say I've been rooting for the Rockies because my best friend is a Rox fan and they're just pretty stinkin cool.

But if anyone from the American league was gonna win i would want it to be the Red Sox.

w00t w00t! This year, the Brewers won't suck! Here's my reasoning. There has to be one sport in the state of Wisconsin that does good. It can't, however, be all at once .

Let's look at Wisconsin professional sports for this year.

Packers - I hate to say it, but they just won't be too good this year. A team with a newbie quarterback never is.

Bucks - Seriously, do I even need to say anything?

Brewers - The only way they can go is up right now. We were doing good last year, but the second half of the season is what killed us. We've picked up new players, kept some of the old ones. I'm telling you, this year is the year of the Brewers.

And, Curt, if you say that you don't like the Brewers, I'm gonna have to make that trip up to Green Bay.

*looks at avatar, confused*

Why do I have an avatar for the D-Backs? Hm. Odd.

Anyways, I think we all know who's going to win the World Series this year. Yeah, hand it over, Bosox, it's going to the Tigers. Cabrera, Verlander, Ordonez, and many, many more. We've got it.

But, just in case...

*knocks on wood*

There we go.

According to the new issue of SI, it'll be the Tigers/Cubs with the Tigers winning. But then, they don't have a clue, so...

Well, so far the Nats are undefeated (I missed today's score, last I heard they were ahead). They are my NL team,
All of these experts complaining that Ortiz was in an 0-11(13?) slump. Oh please. Their first game was in Japan where neither team was all that great, and then all of the flying the next week also wore both teams out. So yeah, that was a pretty sexy home run, Papi!

I've got this incredibly brilliant idea.
As the canucks apparently have lost the abillity to play hockey, with any degree of efficiency.
SO!!! THEY SHOULD BECOME A MAJOR LEAGUE BASEBALL TEAM!!!
What do you think?
Roberto Luongo as Pitcher
Linden as first base man((Cause you know, he just never seems to make it all the way home...))
Alex Burrows can be the guy who constantly assaults the umpires.
See the beauty in this???
ANYONE??
*sighs*

All apologies to luit14 in advance, but....

Brewers take the opening series over the Cubs! We even won the season/home opener for Chicago!

Again, I'm so sorry luit14, but I'm a die hard Brewer fan.
