Although i liked Julian, did anyone else think he was annoying as hell at times. His idealistic approach to everything always put the crew in jeapordy. No way

I actually think his character is what star trek is all about cobra.

In Hippocratic Oath Miles is so so so human in his desire to escape, that he can not see the opportunity for what finding a cure for the white addiction would mean.

Sure the Jem Haddar might have become more violent and less controllable, but just like when Janeway shuts down the weapons systems in In The Flesh, someone had to take the risk.

I also think the episode where Julian cures the blight is an a-typical star trek episode and he has some great scenes and a good stroy arc in section 31 and especially in the episode where he is on Romulus with Admiral Ross and Sloane.

No I think I have demonstarted he was a good and contributing character, especially after the 1st and 2nd season where all he was really doing was chasing after Jadzia.

Put the crew in jeapordy? Like when?

I do think that he started off very naive, but that was the point. He was this young and idealistic junior officer that wanted to explore his talents in the "frontier".

Bashir didn't just annoy us, he got to the crew too. I think the Bashir-Kira confrontation set the tone of Bashir's role from the start. Bashir did grow out of those training wheels though.

Bashir kicked ass. With Garak as well as with the Chief. He was just a good character, played very well. And a real tough guy under that frail doctor image.
