This is one of my favorite shows that is currently running, and as far as I know it is doing very well in the ratings. Does anyone know why the second season was only 11 episodes long? The first season had 23. I was kind of mad that it was so short.

The writers strike, to put it plainly. It had been intended for Volume Two and Three to make up season two. However, when the strike occurred, there was only 11 scripts for Volume Two completed. Season Three/Volume Three is due to start in September, I believe.

Yea, I just looked on imdb.com and there are going to be 23 episodes in season 3.

Oh, I didn't even notice there was a Heroes topic on this site. Great show!

As for Volume 3, I'm glad it will have the full range of episodes that Volume 2 lacked.

They'd better combine seasons 2 and 3 into one DVD set or charge less for the second season.

the one thing that I hated the most was the way the final show of the last season ended. To kill the girl in the fire and shot the borther and then end the show sucked. I am ready for the new season to start and hopefully it will be as good if not better than the previous.
