Does anyone know what season SG-1 was in when the atlantis series first started. I'm watching the SG-1 DVDs and I want to watch an episode of each series the way they aired when they were first on tv.

if im not mistaken it was somewheres between season 5 and season 6 or 7 maybe...not really sure though.

Well, that's not a very helpful answer, 
The Atlantis storyline really took off at the end of Season 7 in SG-1, but there are lot of references before that since it really was an entire arc on the show. However, the Atlantis team didn't arrive there until after episode 2 of Season 8 (since Weir was in command of the SGC up to that point).

I just watched the first episode of the 7th season. There were a lot of references to the lost city. So I'm pretty sure that you're right and it will start at the end of this season. Thanks for the help.
