I imagine ur pretty sad, don't worry I'm sure you'll have plenty more championships in the future. Brady can't finish his career until he has at least one more ring.

Yeah. If only Hobbs hadn't slipped on that last TD pass from Manning, (he was blocking the dude who made the reception), but then there's a bunch of "if only's". I'm surprised it was such a low scoring game, though.
How many days until spring training?

Wow..."there's a bunch of "if only's""...
What about the 4 lead changes in the 4th Q? Or was that just luck?
BTW, I'm a Colts fan...but I did enjoy the game last night...

"Monday Morning Quarterback"
If you don't know what that is, I recommend dictionary.com or wikipedia.
Apparently Brady is so banged up he's withdrawn from the Pro-Bowl.

Firstly, it would probably be a good idea to use http://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/Wiktionary:Main_Page rather than http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Main_Page when looking for definitions, the former is usually best for articles and descriptions.
Secondly, for you to snidely suggest that I don't know what that term means, is not only unnecessary, but rude and immature.
Lastly, yeah, Brady is "banged-up", he was sacked 5 times by the best defense in the NFL...but my guess is his resignation from the Pro-bowl may have more to do with his bruised ego, and not so much his bruised body.

You're response to my comment about "if only" was very indicative of your lack of knowledge regarding monday morning quarterbacking, Otherwise you would have understood my comment instead of questioning it. Question marks (?) are still a sign of a question, no?
Secondly, I couldn't care less about proper links. No www., no http, just the names. I assumed you could find them on your own, and good job, it seems you did. If you find me immature, that's nice? I find you... odd. And your latching on to nearly everything I say is rather bizarre. I don't know you, haven't spoken to you, nor do I care to. (on a personal level) I find you rude. It seems you can't say anything without being condescending.
And yeah, I guess you'd know better than Brady how he feels physically, and that he's not going because his team played a really bad season finishing 18-1, an unprecedented, unparalleled record. How humiliating.

Hey, I saw their faces as they headed toward the locker room after the game...they were embarrassed, if not humiliated.

Well, of course they were. They were the projected favorites and went out and played like a Pop Warner team. But that doesn't mean you'd pull out of the Pro-Bowl, a huge deal to the players just because of that.

Well, maybe that was his reason, maybe it wasn't, I tend to think it was.

I'm glad the Patriots lost and I have no favorite NFL team.

So, yeah, here's my two cents.....
(Like, OMG, tomparis has decided to drop back in again! [sarcasm]College is fun![/sarcasm])
Well, to be honest, I didn't much care about the outcome of the Super Bowl. Those of you who know me know that I was pulling for the Packers in the NFC Championship. I guess that I was pulling for the Giants for two reasons. First, I love the underdog , and second, I was staying true to my division. Now, with the Patriots, I know there has been a whole lot of people saying that they were getting arrogant. Not true (with the exception of Randy Moss, but then that may just come from the fact that I don't like him since he used to be a Viking......). The Pats played well, during the season, but the Giants, like through the rest of the playoffs, just wanted it more. I think that's how they won. They were just more pumped up and motivated to be there.

I didn't really think that Moss was arrogant. He seemed quiet. He can't be compared with most receivers in the arrogant department. Look at T.O., Chad Johnson, Plaxico Burress etc.

Yeah, but like I said, I think I'm biased since he used to be a Viking.

Yea he used to be a raider too. I guess I just never thought like that since he hadn't done anything since leaving Minnesota before getting to New England.

So, I'm obviously unhappy with what happened to Brady yesterday, and no, I don't think it was a dirty play. But the NY Post, their headline was in very poor taste.
No one knows for sure since it wasn't credited in the article, but it's thought that the "YAHOO!" may be referencing the fact that they used YAHOO! as the source for their story, even though it was actually CBS who broke the story. (the YAHOO! theory is from someone who commented online about the article)
Other than all that, it was a pretty good day in the NFL, even though I tanked on my picks.

That stinks. He hasn't had the MRI yet so I don't know where everyone is getting this information about him being done for the year.

He is, it was announced after 1600 EST. (but you are right, all of those articles were printed long before that) The Pats aren't saying exactly what it is, surprising no one with that, but it's assumed it's a torn ACL from the way he went down. I'm kind of surprised that the Patriots only went from 4:1 to 8:1 to win the Superbowl, I figured it be worse.

I'm really sorry about that. They should still be a good team, but I don't think they have a shot at the super bowl. I guess you'll just have to get by with your world champion basketball and baseball teams...lol

I don't think they're completely out, though they are severely limited. Let's see what Cassell can do,
And yeah, it's been hard being a fan of New England teams since the turn of the century, *cough*
