so do I. I hope the superbowl is NE vs GB so Favre can finish his career with a win over the unbeaten Patriots. I think that a super bowl win is the only way he'll retire after this year.

If I was an 18 year veteran and I had a chance to end my career with a superbowl win against an 18-0 team, I would most definently do it.

They pulled it off in the end. I think that if the packers make the superbowl they'll win.

They were up two scores nearly the entire fourth quarter.
Brady got picked three times and they still won. I'm sure it's quite obvious who I think will win the Super Bowl. But I'm not stupid enough to guarantee anything.

LMAO! I can't believe Brady just said that,

Pats fans are smarter, classier, healthier than those in NY
Friday, Jan 25, 2008 8:39 am EST

Boston Herald columnist Jessica Heslam claims the stats don't lie New England Patriots fans are smarter, classier and healthier and own pricier homes than the riff-raff who root for the New York Giants and now we've got the research to back it up.

Some 62 percent of Pats fans living in the Boston area earned a bachelor's or postgraduate degree or have some higher-education experience, compared to 59 percent of Giants fans, according to the latest marketing data provided by the Nielsen Co., the TV ratings firm.

Likewise, 72 percent of Pats fans live in homes worth north of $200,000, compared to 63 percent of Giants yahoos. Pats fans drink Amstel Light, not Bud Light. Giants fans slug back lots of whiskey. Bostonians are likely to read connoisseur magazines like Wine Spectator. Gotham fans like to pig out on junk food like pretzels, chips and nuts. When Giants fans arent booing Giants coach Tom Coughlin or punk quarterback Eli Manning in that New Jersey stadium they call home, theyre out practicing their tennis backhands in the backyard.

I didn't write it, nor do I agree with it (completely, ), I just find it funny.

I have been a Peyton Manning fan since he played with TN...so, now I find myself without a team in the playoffs...but I do kinda hope that the Giants will knock the Pats off of their high horse.

Yes, in this I know I'm a dreamer.

"Knock the Pats off their high horse"? Don't really get that. Some Pats fans (as is true with any other team), yes, but the team itself, no. They don't even really celebrate (these days), until the win the Super Bowl. There wasn't even champagne in the locker room after winning the AFC title... So yeah, I don't see how the Pats could be construed as arrogant.

It's really amusing that that is an example of Patriot arrogance for you. Most would see it as Steeler arrogance, and the Patriots knocking them off their high horse. But whatever, to each his own.

Oh yes,

So, now Tom Brady is a Steeler?

Did you really listen to how he said what he said?

I never said, nor alluded to Brady being a Steeler.
And I saw that replayed over and over many times after the game. The Steelers player, to whom Brady is running his mouth, ran his mouth about the Pats earlier in the week before they played. The Patriots waited until they were on the field to reply. Verbally, and by winning. Talking smack on the field is part of the game, we're fortunate the players aren't mic'd like they are in the MLB at times, or the NFL would be on pay-per-view. So again, if that's your reason for your opinion of the Patriots, so be it. I don't agree.

Right, nor did I.

I think you're attempting to critique my opinion while holding your's up as objective, which is pretty lame IMHO.

I don't really care as I am not a die-hard football fanatic, but to project the idea that the "Pats" are not arrogant because they wait until they are on the field to "talk smack" then you I would ask you to explain the time limits for talking smack that preclude one from being considered arrogant.

The cause and effect of the video you posted.

All teams "talk smack" on the field. All of them. So by using your logic, they are all on a high horse. I said before you were entitled to your opinion and it wasn't necessary that I agree. I don't know why this is continuing, it won't be on my side. (and never claimed objectivity, either, I'm clearly a Patriots fan, but I am capable of rationality, tyvm)

Hate that the Pats lost, but the Giants defense played a great game I think.

I laugh at the naysayers who say the Giants couldn't pull it off, because they did, 17-14!!!

That was an awesome game, especially that last Giants touchdown!!

GO NEW YORK FOOTBALL GIANTS!!!

Obviously bummed, but the Pats D and O-line was so weak tonight. And I agree with you, Robbie. It's amazing how many new NE and Red Sox fans there have been this decade.
