Somehow I missed 3 or 4 of the final episodes. Please, SOMEONE, tell me how and when Chakotay and Seven became an item; did they marry; how and when did they die?

They became an item sometime between "Natural Law" and "Endgame." They'd had two dates by the time "Endgame" started.
In the Admiral's timeline, yes, they married.
Seven died 3 years after that time frame. Chakotay died shortly after returning home from the DQ.
In the revised timeline, who knows what will happen?

Good job Bean, ruin it for everyone . Also, in the non canon book Home Coming, Seven went her own way and ended the relationship a short time after they got back to Earth. That was a very good book.

No, bean did not ruin it for everyone. A question was asked and he/she answered. You were not obligated to read past the question if you feared an answer,
I liked the Chakotay - Seven match. It's too bad they didn't explore it sooner rather that just barrelling into it so suddenly. A woman trying to find herself and a classy, no-pressure guy.
Say all you want about Seven and the doctor but that's too much of a teacher falling for a student taboo, IMO.
And Janeway - Chakotay? Poor, poor man.

Oh I know, I was just giving him a hard time. I did not really care for that match myself. But they had to give Future Janeway good incentive to break the temporal prime directive in the last episode. What better incentive can you think of than the reasons given?

I hated Seven and Chakotay match because they didn't look good together. Plus Chakotay is old enough to be her father.Gross lol

Most of my friends, including myself think it was a great idea.
Like The Doc said "He has many attributes".
She was assimilated when she was 6 years old, she spent aprox 20 years in the Collective and 4 years on Voyager, so, she is now 30 years old.
Chakotey left Starfleet only 1 year before the beginning of the Voyager adventure and he was only at the rank of Commander which is maybe at the age of 30, so now he is maybe 38. That's not bad

well even if Chakotay was older than 38... 7 spend most of her life as an adult not a child, so parts of her personality were very mature.... but then we could also say she'd only spent 4 years as an adult at that time. Seven is a complicated case.

Chakotay's pushing 50. Seven's pushing 30--in chronological years.
Still, the maturation chamber speeds up maturation. Seven was in one for IIRC 5 years. So if she was assimilated at 6, she emerged from the chamber a fully mature drone at 11. She's been functioning as an adult for longer than, say, Harry or B'Elanna or Tom, or, for that matter, the Doctor.
I'll also point out that Seven is no newbie to long-term relationships. She was with Axum for 6 years. She may not remember all of it, but it's part of her history, too.

Chakotay doesn't look 38 lol more like an old fart if you ask me.... sorry chakotay fans.... They should have gotten a better actor than RB to do Chakotay... gags... coughs... Seven belongs with the doctor in my opinion or poor Harry... not Chakotay...
*** Edit just now****

There's no need for apology, you are entitle to your opinion even if you are wrong .
I think he is a great actor for the Chakotey character.
I admit, in the beginning I thought he was the wrong choice, but, soon after the beginning I changed my mind, especially when I saw the episode "TATTOO" which, although I am not Indian, touched me very deeply .
And, by the way, to me (and my treky friends) he does look 38-40 years old in the series.

Chakotay and Seven =
That made me so angry.....SO angry.
I am not quite sure, but it just......angered me !!!
I was always a J/Cer, I suppose that explains it. But I understand why Janeway and Chakotay could not have worked out while they were lost in the Delta Quadrant.
The Chakotay and Seven pairing just...............really peeved me.

I am an Indian and "Tattoo" made me cry, too. Not for the same reason, though.
I was very sad and angry to find out that according to Jeri Taylor, I'm not completely human, but part space alien.
Funny, that's the reason the US government used to try and wipe us out--that we weren't completely human.

That's a pretty interesting perspective. I gotta say, I'll never look at the episode the same again.

I don't remember the episode very well. Is it possible that maybe Jeri Taylor really didn't think that way but wanted to address in the episode how some people used to see Indians? I don't know. I'd have to watch the episode again to get a better perspective.

I think she just didn't think.
And she certainly didn't do a lot of research. I found everything she included in "Pathways" and on the series in one 30 second search that turned up maya.net.
I don't think for one minute she's a bigot. I think she just didn't consider the implications of a lot of her choices.

Ah I see. Yeah not researching enough for something like that can do it. Makes me want to watch the episode even more now for the reasons you stated.

I was more disturbed by the coupling of Neelix and Kes, but I had always thought the Seven and Tuvok might have been a better match, especially if VOY had lasted a few more years and Tuvok need more and more guidance to remain close to logic.
