Spock is the best by far. No one else could come close to him

Based on what i have seen from star trek and from its fans i would say that overall spock is the favorite. No way is it scotty.

well according to william shatners biography(captain james t kirk) Leonard Nimoy(Spock) was much more popular then captain kirk he even wrote that he was jealous of Leonard Nimoy
i would say though most avg day person would find scotty the most popular becuase of the beam me up scotty line people always say.......but the same can be said for Spock and his live long and prosper line

"The Wire" ended nearly two years ago, but star trek voyager
conversation about the show set in Baltimore is still going strong - particularly on American college campuses.
When a noted Harvard sociology professor bones dvd
recently announced he was planning a course based on the HBO series about Baltimore's urban dysfunction, the university becamethe wire 1-5 dvd
the latest in a string of prestigious schools to study the drama.
Creator David Simon, reached this week inmonk dvd
New Orleans, where he's filming his new series, Dexter dvd boxset
called the academic consideration of his star trek voyager dvd
work "gratifying."
We did not design the show purely as an entertainment, but as a political treatise and social critique," he wrote in an e-mail star trek voyager complete series
