I was watching coverage of this this afternoon. Horrible, absolutely horrible. Thank God the situation didn't end like so many recent hostage situations, with all the hostages freed.

I know. When I first heard this, I thought about the nightmare @ Virginia Tech. I'm grateful no one got hurt.
