Who would you want to serve under...

Picard love the pomp and loyalty to starfleet and its 'prime directive'.And only if worf was still security officer so I could check him out on a regular basis!

it would be between janeway and sisko janeway becuase she gets stuck out in the delta quadrant most probaly sisko tho becuase of all the battles he sees

i would serve under capain picard,why?,by seeing every eppisode from the original to the latest,i would feel safest with him at the helm.

I'd hate to serve under any of them if I'm not senior staff. If I'm a junior officer, chances are I'm going to die in one episode or another.

If I had to pick, I'd definitly want to serve under Sisko. At least he makes dinner for his crew.

I've been having a think... and I've decided the only thing that might make me choose is that Picard has "tea, earl gray, hot." Like me! i have more respect for tea drinkers than coffee addicts like Janeway. lol but i also love Janeway. >.<

Definately Janeway. Then Picard. If I'd had to serve under Sisko, Kirk or Archer, I would've ended up punching each one of them for one reason or another!

I understand that, I don't think I would like to serve under the others at all either...but it is a really close call for Janeway vs Picard.

Although i like Archers Dog... i think that he would be the hardest to serve under because he gives far to many long winded speeches about morality. Although Janeway does this too... it's not so bad. but i dunno if he keeps this up, becuase i only saw the first series of enterprise

because they never brought any more to NEw Zealand.

Yeah diffently Picard, or Janeway.

I came on here to answer simple questions, boy did I get off at the wrong train stop

The situation would be a big influence I too would be very comfortable exploring the Delta quadrant and agree with what Harry Kim told Neelix once that he envied Naomi for having this childhood, but Janeway is not my preferred captain.

I love DS9 the station and the opportunity to not only work under Sissko (satisfactory leader) but to have lunch with Garak (my favourite trek character) , to be abducted by section 31, to play tongo with Quark and to have a chance with a woman over 300 years old (because as Picard says we all like older woman, right chaps), it pushes me in Sissko's direction.

But ultimately Picard is the best captain hands down, afterall he stands for what trek is all about and I am sure that Gene Roddenberry and Patrick Stewart talked about not having a gungho, bend the rules leader like Kirk, when discussing the character of the role.

So after all that Picard.

I would have the most faith in Picard but I can image his crew speeches would be a little boring...

I love Picard and Janeway. I'd love to serve under both of them however if I had to choose between being lost in the Delta Quadrant or not, I'd choose Picard...then again I guess that being lost in the Delta Quadrant wouldn't be much worse than being in the Federation during the Dominion War. However post Dominion War, and post Voyager return, I'd love to serve for either. If Janeway was still a captain...it would be a tough choice but I'm gonna have to go with Picard because for one thing you gotta love the Enterprise. I'd wanna be able to go to Ten-Foward!

And I would rather work with his crew like Data, Riker, Troi, Crusher, Geordi, etc (except I'd want Worf there too if he wasn't on DS9). I think all in all, a Galaxy class starship like the Enterprise would be best...unless Janeway got a different type of ship rather than the Intrepid class...but yeah Picard all the way!

Sure was a tough decision though...
