The voyage home was hilarious, when spock 'vulcan gripped' the punk on the bus cos he was too noisey! Then everyone clapped and cheered!
Chekov trying to say 'nuclear weapons',but coming out as 'nuclar wessons'.
A really great movie showing the future meeting the past!

I love Voyage home as well. I thought it was hilarious funny. Spock did the Vulcan pinch , whatever you call it,on that dude that was playing the loud music.

The dialogue in TUC was really good. Very much liked the Shakespeare, Also, loved the effects when they took out the Klingon battle cruiser, (cloaked one). Christopher Plummer has always been awesome, IMO.

^Yeah, I just watched TUC a few weeks ago. I really like that movie. I love the small bit with Christian Slater. He asked to have a small role as he too is a hugs Trekker

I personally liked the TVH and TUD. I thought TVH was funny as heck and TUD had a lot of action in which I liked.

Haha I just spent the past few days watching all of them but it's hard to make conclusion at the moment. I guess I'll have to watch them all again..
The thing that stands out in my head at the moment is the whale one. To me that just appeared blatantly greeny (greenpeace) and the whole movie was wrapped around that idea (save whales!). It was just so stupid to me lol.
I'll have to watch them again I think..

I liked the Voyage Home as a whole because it didn't take itself too seriously. I really liked the first half of the Search for Spock as well, but I felt like it sort of came apart at the very end.

How come Generations isn't on here? Not that I would pick it.
With out a doubt...go with the past time travel. Gota love it! The Voyage home, by the way I've seen it on AMC mulitple times and the last time I saw the promo for a showing of it I noticed under the title it said: (the one with the whales). I love the part where Kirk tries to explain Spock's behavior and blames it on "LDS" LOL. <--gota love that! And where Scotty talks into the mouse. "Hello Computer"
But I think I would have to say "The Undiscovered Country" would be a close second. Christopher Plummer as a bald-Shakespearn-reciting- Klingon; I love it!

Wrath of Khan. The other movies I just don't like. I think they're a betrayal of Star Trek.
Re IV: I'm as environmentalist as they come, and the forced contrived whale premise is enough to make this movie a job to watch, for me. This seems like a film for non-fans, the mass of the public who tuned in to the original series for "fun", often because they thought it was "camp", laughing at alien costumes, or whatever. The humor is tired and forced to me. I'm embarrassed for everyone involved when I look at it.
Why couldn't we have had actual science fiction films, with SF premises behind them, instead of melodramatic gimmicky soap operas with cheap laughs thrown in? Why couldn't Star Trek have been about exploring the unknown and stretching the imagination, as SF is supposed to be, as Trek was on television?
